How did your week start out?
It's been a pretty wild day here. About 5 minutes before I left to go to the Y, I started getting an optical migraine. Since the blind spots usually go away in about 20 minutes and don't cause terrible pain, I decided to go ahead to class. I drove up there in spite of the blind spots. If I had been as badly impaired as I used to be I couldn't have done it. So, they went away and I just had a little headache hangover and thought it would be OK to work out. I did the 15 minutes ABS class, which wasn't too bad, but when I got into the Zumba class I started feeling really worse. By the time it was over, I knew there was no way I could stay for the Flexx-It class, so I left.
While we'd been in class the bottom had dropped out outside and we had torrential rains. There was another tornado watch. I ran to the car and discovered one of my cycling gloves on the ground, which I'd apparently dropped on the way in. I am so spacey! Hope someone found the other and turned it in. It was hard to see driving home and when I got to the main road out towards our house the rain was coming down so hard and the water was splashing up in sheets from the deep water I had to ride through, so at times I coudln't see at all for a second or two. It seemed like a lot longer at the time. I guess this was the rain that was supposed to hit yesterday. Glad they had a beautiful day for the Daytona 500, but I sure wouldn't want to be in that mass migration north in that kind of weather today. I was also relieved to be up in an SUV and not in a low vehicle. Later, the sun came out a while, but it's overcast again.
I got home and took a shower, washed my hair, took some medicine, and went straight to bed. Tim came home to nap too. He said he's going back to work tonight, but he's going to get a late start, if he does. I rested for several hours then got up and skimmed the pool

My wedding was blue and green. My sister was in a blue gown and the rest of the bridesmaids in green. The girls work big picture hats-quite the fashion statement. My sister and I were just talking about the place where I got my gown. It was a ladies house and she ran her business out of a loft above her garage. She made my headpiece and did all the beading on it. It was really was very pretty. The guys had matching shirts with of course the ruffled front shirts and were so popular in the 70's. I'll never forget the tux guy telling me that blue and green didn't go together. Really didn't like him very much!
Loved your pictures Karen. I love looking back and seeing all the styles that were so popular.
Margo had a fountain in her cake? I think I'm jealous:)!

Keeping your mom in my thoughts, Nancy - it sounds like things are controllable.

Sorry to hear about your headache, Rhonda - and having to drive in "wet-out" conditions with it.
