We didn't get the rain that was predicted, so I spent a little time weeding and planting 10 large bulbs for bright red Amaryllis that a kind neighbor gave me. Hers were spreading and getting too thick, so she was giving her extras away to various neighbors. I try to do that with extra plants I have too. Much better to recycle.
I hope that sick feeling passes quickly, Nancy, and that it's not the flu. I know what you mean about getting outside making you feel good. It always makes me feel better to get some sunlight and fresh air (unless it's really cold). I can take that only a little while. If we'd had the pool heater on, I could have gone in the pool. The only thing is it was overcast and I don't like to be wet when there's no sun. That's why I don't like to swim at night either unless I'm already in the pool when the sun goes down. I know, I'm weird and very solar oriented.
Congratulations on doing so well with your eating. I seem to be insatiable lately and craving sweets terribly. I don't give in to the cravings all the time, but I do more than I should. Are you eating anything in particular that seems to help keep you satisfied?
Nancy, my grandparents always said "early Easter, early Spring" too. I keep repeating it to myself now and hope it holds true this year. We have missed almost every shot at rain or snow this winter and I'm wondering how dry our summer might be.
Spring is trying to come here.
