Good Monday Afternoon....I took the last dance class today at the gym and that about wraps it up for me there. I was sorry to hear that members quit and are going to other gyms, so they will be spread out and I won't be seeing much of them anymore. I then went to the bank for renew a CD which I ended up cashing in and transferring to a money market since the rates were so bad. Then off to Micaels for some retail therapy and bought knitting needles and yarn. Then went to the store to get bananas...I really miss them when they are gone. You would think I wouldn't need bananas with an edible bouquet in the house. I can't believe how much fruit is in it...DD must have spent a fortune. Just finished up brunch and now I am here finally.

Anyone else interested in filling in the March Food and Exercise journal? Try to even fill in the exercise minutes or use it as a journal tool. You can modify it any way you want.

Patty...so sorry to hear you are having trouble in CL. You must be good with fixing problems with finding it and getting Dh to fix it. Glad to hear you are embracing March. April can't be too far away if March snuck up on us so quickly! It is a busy month with St Patty's day and Easter...so it should go quickly.

Gingermom...it is rough those preteen and teen years but stick to your guns and keep telling DD how much you love her. The kids really do hear you and she will be greatful one day that you cared so much. I hear it all the time now from my 4 children but they had to get married and have their own children to really understand. Please keep on her about her friends. I can't believe what happened to my niece with hanging with the wrong kids and sis not doing anything about it. Hope I didn't overstep but I wanted to let you know you are not wrong for believing what you do. Of course, feeling badly and guilty is all part of being a Mom.

Susan...you sure were wearing you problem solving hat this morning home and here at the board. All that and getting a workout in too. I am glad you had a good conversation with your sister. Hopefully the good feelings will last and the family will be one again (if that is what you want). Woo hoo about DH going to the accountant. Once less thing you have to worry about.

Lori...I think we are up to the back hoe now for the men. We could send it over to you anytime. Hope the new bed gives you restful and restorative sleep. You never realize how bad a bed is until you get a new one. I think the dress will look lovely with whatever fabric you pick as long as it is not stiff. It looks like a flirty swingy dress to me. Good luck deciding.

Donna...the roasted vegetables sound so good. I have to do that next...I love having them in the fridge for snacking and rounding out a meal. Great way to get the veggies in. I hear you about working out when it is cold. Knowing the days are getting longer is giving me a new lease on life too. Spring just can't be too far away. Hope the job situation improves! Enjoy the weekend if the kids come over. You are just a good hostess.

Rhonda...wtg with the weight loss no matter what it was. Glad you are sleeping better too. Don't over do after being so sick. I guess you Mom decided to stay in the house? I keep missing what it up with that. Gosh...I forgot how quickly DST is coming up. I won't like the dark mornings though.

Margo...good for you for getting exactly what you wanted for the grill yesterday. It sounded like you enjoyed it with that glass of wine. DS doesn't know what he missed.

Karen...vacation soon? Hope you have something special planned.

Deb/MN...it is hard to stay on track. When you feel like you just don't want to do anything just tell yourself you only have to do 10 minutes. Then one of two things will happen...you will stop and at least you got that much in, or you will feel like that wasn't too bad and do another 10. The first 10 minutes is the hardest. Good luck!

Brain just stopped working so that is it for now. Have to remember to call in for jury duty after 4 pm. I forgot Friday and thank goodness it was the weekend and I could call on through Sunday. Whew!

Have a good day, week, month.

Grace

"Sometimes body-image issues are less about your body and more a reflection of a general feeling of powerlessness or being “stuck” in a certain place in our lives, explains Delaney: “Instead of addressing the real problem—our job, our marriage—we focus on the size of our hips.” So take a hard look at your life and set a specific, achievable goal (create a business plan for a particular project, for example, or enroll with your husband in a dance class to put oomph back into your relationship). “Shift your focus from your body to something outside yourself, something you’re taking positive steps toward,” Delaney says."

Oh, my, this woman is totally reading my mind, or you are, Patty :).

This weekend, I went shopping with a new friend of mine; I've known her for awhile, and we've developed a friendship through the band we both work for.

Well, since George obviously is ignoring both of us, I'll take your company, Patty.
