Now back to the oatmeal question...........it sounds yummy but that is lots of oatmeal........gee about 8 breakfests for me, lol. I have a really large crock pot but I might borrow my MIL's smaller, original one.

Going to look at that book when I'm at Costco.....my hubby is great about oatmeal, he has it every morning (plain no brown sugar, cinn, etc.).

That is exactly how my daughter, SIL, and 17 month old grandson eat naturally. Oh, that I could!!! I'm going to have to check the recipes out.

Welcome to the board! I also have a young grandson and thought I'd never want to be called grandma. Funny thing - he calls me mommy when he's here with me :). Luckily, DD doesn't sweat it. He calls DH papa.

I saw an article by Tosca Reno - it looked interesting - great job on the weight loss!

Welcome to the board and Congratulations on the weight loss. Thank you for the recipes too. I usually cook the steel cut oatmeal on the stove...4 cups of water/milk to 1 cup of oats. Then I heat it up in the microwave during the week.

I am definitely going to look into that meal plan. I generally eat whole grains and lean protein with lots of fruits and veggies, but I guess I don't eat often enough. I know I have to shake something up to get results.

I am a certified group fitness instructor and I keep hearing more and more about Zumba. I may have to get a DVD for that too. I will be working out at home for awhile when doing jury duty. I will miss the classes for a month.

Glad to have you aboard too...
Grace
