It was a long day. I got a call at 9:05 that Dad was being taken to the hospital by ambulance. He isn't terribly sick yet, but the point is to get him treatment before he reaches that point again. Mom had to get dressed and my sister and BIL had to load their car (major) to head back to MD, so of course, I was the closest and fastest one there. I got there by 10:30. He'd already had a CT scan of his head, chest X-ray, urine culture, etc. Apparently, there is another bug involved in the UTI other than the superbug, Pseudomonas. We don't know what that is yet. He was able to get a room by about 2:00, which is probably the fastest that's ever happened. Sister, BIL, and mom got there about 11:45. Dad was not happy about having to be there and couldn't understand at first why he was there.

Sister and BIL got away an hour late at 3:00, so it will be the wee hours of the morning by the time they get home. I sure hated to have them leave. Dad did too. Mom and I had a late lunch at Sonny's bbq. She left a little before 5:00, because even though it was mid-70's and pretty most of the day, we had a chance of a big storm this evening. We got lucky and didn't get it. I stayed till 7:50, so it was a long day.

Rob, his GF, and best friend left about 4 to go to a concert in Orlando this evening. They'll probably drive back very late, which worries me. I tried to get him to call Erin and spend the night with her, but he didn't. Tim came home and napped, then left for the office about the time I was leaving the hospital. I guess he'll be home about 11:00. It was too late for me to go to Zumba by the time I got home and Tuesday night is my favorite class. Still haven't gotten to use my booty bling yet!

I'll be going back to the hospital tomorrow. Canceled my hair appt. I have a Rep. Women's Club meeting Thursday, so Mom will go there or the nursing home that day. I hope he will be back to the nursing home by then. They started him on a different IV antibiotic today. He was somewhat confused at times and very tired, but extremely funny at times too, which is a good time.

That's about it from here.

My day was busy and as usual off schedule. I spent almost an hour trying to figure out a simple chain thingy in CL. On a happier note I finally mastered a thing with feed pans I've never been able to do right.I have some ideas for next flock and I'm

Patty I am trying to think how to respond to your post.................sounds like a busy day for you too. Chickens, workouts, chains and feeding pans............now onto your feelings. I do not blame you for being upset, getting upset and telling them all your upset with the crapola that your BIL and his mom are putting your sis through. Can I ask why does your sister put up with this behavior? You said it bothers her too and she needs to say something. If she tells you it is alright to speak on her behalf great but if not..........I would be afraid of stepping on toes. But then again we all know I do not have a problem stepping on toes with certain issues like cheese on a burger or my SIL allowing her children to stay at my house but we all know where that has gotten me. You have everyright to be upset maybe upset is not the right word. Gee I am pissed because Bill won't be home for my birthday. Heaven knows the crap he is going to get and I can tell you I will hang this over his head for a long time to come. I am sorry for your sister that she married such an *ss hole, I think I would have rolled the poison meatball by now.

Can I say that my day s*cked? Because it really did. I can say I pushed myself and got to the gym for my walk despite Aunt Flo showing up with a bang. Got my hair dried, it was an interesting combination of hand movements to dry it, did not look like it did yesterday so that made me angry. Got to work on time but was basically jumped immediatly upon entering the front door of the office by my boss. Thank goodness he disappeared for a few hours but our phones never stopped ringing and I played catch up the entire day. Around lunch time he began pestering me about this one file I have been working on since December and I finally snapped. I threw the file at him and told him to do it himself, that I only have 2 hands and both were really busy at the moment. I then told him I can not work 4 days here but only get 2 of those days to take care of my stuff. With that I started to cry..................oh crap the water works went into effect. He handed me back the file and said to do it when I had time and then ran out the door to lunch with his tail between his legs. Came back about an hour later and asked if I was alright and to just take a break, the break I wanted was his neck. Anyhow this big file collapsed on me..........it was a short sale that was denied after months of HUD's, letters, estimates, ect being faxed back and forth.........angry! All my work for nothing. I pulled the plug at 3:00 since I needed to pick up Katie and headed home. I then ran to the x-ray place to pick up my old Mamo pictures since I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon. Then picked up a steak for the grill and then had to stay on Katie's backside to finish her damn SS work. Bill called it the never ending school project. After dinner I put away my summer clothes and pulled out Bill's stuff. Dinner is cleaned, Bill has his coffee, Katie is in the shower and Rob just got home and warming some dinner. Oh wait he just asked me to warm him up some leftovers, argh. I did, he went to school all day then headed to his job around 4 and just got home 10 minutes ago but he better clean it up! Well good night everyone I need to go to bed before I hurt someone or myself. I am just very moody and I want to be alone. I am picking up Aunt Linda tomorrow at 6:15 instead of 6:30 so best to head upstairs and get under my blankets.

My sister has been with her husband since high school and he's always been like this. And in all honesty my sister accepts it, puts up with it and lets him get by with it. Part of the blame is with her because of that. He's never going to change if she doesn't speak up. Maybe
