I'm not sure that I can say I eat six little meals but I do find that I need to have the 3 smaller portioned meals and 2 snacks during the day. On the days that I don't do that I find myself ravenous by the time it comes to a meal, I don't eat eat properly and I end up feeling terrible. I need to keep that blood sugar in line.
I pack my snacks to work with me and fortunately with the type of job that I have it's usually not to difficult to fit those snacks in. I usually do have some almonds and raisins with me and recently I've started drinking a glass of skim milk with my lunch and incorporating a piece of fruit in when I get the after lunch munchies. Mid afternoon I usually have some low fat yogart and throw some sliced strawberries in with it.
I don't think there's a set way for anyone. It's what works for you. I'll never be one to completely give up what I love to eat but there's just a lot less of it and certainly not as often. Deprivation has never worked for me.

It is small changes made consistently over time not large changes all at once that will have the biggest effect on your weight loss.

Thanks everyone for your input and thoughts.
I really like the idea of maybe something aerobic between sets.
Hi Ginger,
I don't say this too much, but I am also a certified personal trainer.
