Are you sure you want to hear from me again.........wasn't my whining enough last night and this morning to turn you all away? Made it to work ontime and was there until 11:15 without any help. My boss was extremely nice, and tried really hard to stay on my good side. Sometimes the man is smart.........sometimes not! I told my coworker that I had an appointment for 12:45 so I left at 12:40 and headed over to the office. After filling out all the paperwork, paying the copay and waiting nothing! That is right, nothing! I sat there until 1:45 and they had not called me. Mind you the place was empty and no lady went in while I was there for a mamo. The only other person in the waiting room was a guy and he went in for shoulder x-rays. I asked how long around 1:25 and they said just a few more minutes. Finally at 1:45 I told them I could not wait any longer, I still had to grab lunch and be back before the phones came off service. We rescheduled for this Saturday at 8:30. I am supposed to be the first appointment of the day and they appoligized up and down. The woman behind the counter said she has no idea what was happening but would tell the office manager because it seems I was the second one of the day to leave. Interesting! So back I went and ended up staying at the office until 5:45. The phones were still crazy, the client's so-so, my boss alright. Got home and made some shrimp and pasta for Katie and myself and watched the TIVOed American Idol from last night. Katie just finished the last of that darn SS project and has headed upstairs to bed. Bill & Rob left around 7:00 and had hopes of making it to Maryland tonight and then finding a room. Billy is out with friends and the house is quiet. I am going to head upstairs in a minute. I never called Aunt Linda this afternoon or tonight so I do not know if we are going to walk in the morning. I guess I shoud just set the clock for 6:00 and call her since she gets up early anyway. If she is still in bed then I will just have an early start. I need to drive Katie to school tomorrow and then head in to the office. I will probley work a few hours on Friday too to catch up a little. Saturday Katie has a sleep over birthday party and Billy will be heading upstate for a concert so I will be home alone, boo-hoo. I guess I can rent some movies and get some Chineese food that is unless Susan wants to come out and play? Well everyone hope you all had a good day and are having a nice night.

It's already well past my bedtime but just finished up DH's resume. Thank goodness DD's BF formatted this thing for me. I realized when I started on this tonight that it was geared entirely towards a different career direction. I had to wait until he got home from his volunteer duties this evening to give me points to include for what he's been doing for the past 30 years! I think I've tweaked and played with it as much as I can. Just hope there's no blatant typos or spelling boo-boos. I'll have DD look at it in the morning.

I was in kind of a blue mood for most of the day. Boss was aggravating and he was in the office all day which is really never a good thing. Between the general work load and the office relocating at the end of the month, my mind twisting and turning in every direction it was a pretty annoying day until the highlight of the day with the call from DH and hoping that this will work out for him.

Otto and I headed out for a rather cold and windy walk this evening. Thank goodness for the oversized bright yellow ski jacket that belongs to DS. That thing is incredibly warm and toasty!

Spent some good reading time and then did some dial flipping while waiting for DH and realized that my DVR isn't working. Nothing that was supposed to have recorded in the past two days has recorded. Guess I'll have to make a phone call on that. It's another one of those things that I have considered removing from the budget but I do enjoy it so I'm going to hold out a little while longer until we see what happens.

Deb-really sorry to hear about your mammo appointment what a lousy way to run an office. I'm finding more and more doctors offices really poorly run.

Well my eyes are burning from way too much computer time between work and home so I better head off to bed and hopefully get a good night's sleep-a rare commodity these days!

Nighty-night-see you in the morning light as I used to say to my kids.

Honestly, I think it's because I'm getting way smaller on top...lost my chest along the Zumba way.
