Mary here in Northern California. Ireland is on my mind today. Okay, it always is, but especially so today. I'm trying so hard to save for a trip there, but between the way the cost of living is rising here (not to mention dollar vs. euro), it feels very distant right now.
Just when you think you couldn't hear another thing happening at this board, it does! Wow...how can so much happen in 24 hours?
Doctor appointments went as expected. The mammography squished me good and this is the first time it hurt so much. I am sure I am going to be bruised for awile. I waited around afterwards and was told my pictures came out ok and I didn't need to take anymore. Lots of information with that...not!!!
The cardiologist said I looked great and that was the last nice thing he had to say. He is off the wall with my cholesterol and he insists something else has to be done. He agrees with my internist to try the WelChol and if it doesn't work or agree with me, he wants to try something else. He would love to try another statin but I said NO. I had
Wow busy day for you today Nancy! Listen to your body tonight and don't over do with the exercise if you are not up to it. Your body will let you know when it is ready to go ahead. Good luck with the new cap.
That was a great exerise session you had this morning Susan. Fifty minutes before work is commendable...50 minutes any time is commendable. Glad you got to make a new beginning.
It was chilly this morning. It took me by surprise when I left for the gym because it was so sunny. Keep taking it one day at a time.
Hope you have/had a better day today Debbie than the past 2 days. Good for you for going out for dinner tonight...you had enough to deal! Hope Katie's hair works out and maybe some low lights will help a lot.
Hope too that the insurance company comes through for you parents mess. It sure got me thinking actually put me in a panic thinking about the old oil tank in our basement. I can't even imagine what a mess it would be if it goes. I will have to put the bug in DH's ear that we better replace it very soon.
Glad to hear that you will be having a 3 day weekend Lori! It seems quite a few places are closing Good Friday. Good it worked out for you. Hope you will be feeling better so you can enjoy it.
That is so KOOL that your vacation was just what you would expect a vacation to be. Sounds like there were things to do for all ages!
What a relief that everything worked out well for MinL and her surgery. Whew!
I should have half the knowledge you do about computers. Sorry Sunday wasn't everything you hoped for before getting back to the real world on Monday. Oh yes, teenagers and driving permits are scary. I am glad I lived through 4 teenagers learning to drive. Now I know why I have so much gray hair.
LOL about your next job in a zoo! I bet it would be easier to work with those animals than the ones you work with now. Sorry it was so cold this morning. It is really deceiving how cold it is with the sun shining so brightly. Caught me off guard this morning too. When it is windy, it doesn't matter how many layers you have on...it just seems to go right through you. I am sending warm weather wishes your way.
You really luck out with shoes at Kohl's Donna. Sure wish I could wear department store shoes...they don't carry small sizes around here though.
