Idea's anyone??

Hi Everyone: Ever since I turned 40(now 41), I've been struggling with my weight. I don't have a lot to lose to reach my goal, 10 pounds. I typically eat healthy and exercise everyday. I think my main issue is age and portion size. I'm currently trying to eat 1000 calories a day to lose weight. I'm looking for anyone else on 1000 calories a day and ideas on what you are eating each day.
Thank you for any ideas or tips for me in advance.

Gosh, I can't believe you took so much time to help me:) I truely appreciate everything and will definately use your ideas. You seem to be very motivated to stay fit, how wonderful!!
As I thought, I skied a lot this weekend but also ate too much:( Don't dare step on the scales................back to the grind tomorrow!!!!
