We're so set on our idea of what it takes to lose weight and eating the "right" thing that I think we sometimes lose sight of the pleasure of food.

Me, too.
I think she was very brave for stepping out and speaking up about the airbrushing, the surgeries, etc., that women in her business resort to. She can certainly afford to do it.
I also read that she is really into simplifying her life...the STUFF in her life that bogs all of us down.
She almost makes me want to not color my hair. Almost. lol.
Hope you got your 1/2 day today Susan. You sure deserve it! I didn't realize you had to sift through 16 years of stuff to make the move to the new office. That is a big undertaking!
I was going to get one of those prepaid cell phones too. I hardly use my phone at all because it is mostly for emergencies. I ended up keeping the plan I had because I didn't want to change my number. I know...dumb reason but it takes me so long to learn phone numbers with "my advancing age". Let me know what you get...I might be ready to switch and save some money.
Hope both DDs make out ok. Safe trip for younger DD and good news about the echo for older DD. I just "feel" that everything is fine especially since the doctor didn't hear anything. Nothing like hearing it though.
Have a good Easter....

Enjoy the concert tonight, Lady! Might as well enjoy the quiet office too!

Ginger...that is great that you quit smoking and substituting a little sweet treat sure is more healthy that a cigarette. Have you thought about trying the Skinny Cow frozen desserts? They are only 2pts on WW. I foget how many calories but they are pretty low as well as low in fat.
You are doing the weight lifting right. The whole trick is to struggle with that last rep. There was an "older" woman who wrote a book about only doing 12 reps for each exercise and doing your workout in less time. Of course, you have to use heavy enough weights. I was never any good with resting between "sets". That is why I like body sculpting classes...especially the ones I teach (wink). Since there is only a limited amount of time to get almost everything in, I switch between an upper and lower body part so I can keep going. I guess too that is the difference between being a "lifter" and body sculpting. DH asked me the other day if I lost weight. I said no...just tightened up more with using heavier weights and doing some more reps with the squats and lunges. I'll take it!
I have been taking the calcium citrate with magnesium and vitamin D. It is the form of calcium that most absorbable. I think the chocolate ones are calcium carbonate and not as absorbable. The one I take are capsules and much easier to swallow. I think I got them at Vitamin Shoppe.
Keep up the great work...

Well said and thank you, Nancy! I do believe we look out for everyone's best interests here too. We aren't exactly gym rats but we want to be fit and healthy with emphasis on the health part. Our hearts are always in the right place.

Couldn't decide between magic dust and prayers for the icon.
Did the Home Depot thing - decided to stop at the grocery store to pick up some shrimp and a few other food items for DD and I.

Yikes!
Glad everyone is okay and the truck is "driveable". Oy.
Jazzercised this morning, I have some new DVDs to try out this afternoon - Tahitian Cardio, Urban Street Dance, African Beat/Latin Heat (oh my-I'll be sizzlin' hot when I finish these).
My stomach is growling, it's 2pm.
