Karen that is a yikes situation. What would I do.........I really am not sure. I guess just talking and not really thinking I would have showed my DD the clothes right away (which you did). The young ladies actions is a cry for help, she has issues but how to deal with them, I do not know. I would hate to say she is not allowed in your house anymore because maybe your house may be what this young girl so desperately needs and wants. I would say if she comes to your home she is never to be left alone..........NEVER. All bags like pocket books, school books, knap sacks must be left at the front door? Who to talk to? You do not know much about this family of hers, her home life situation. What does your DD have to say? Obviously the young lady found out when she got home that the stolen blouse was no longer there so she knows that you know. Would your daughter and you be willing to sit with this young girl and talk but how does one do that without sounding accusatory and causing hard feelings in the future. Good luck with how you ladies handle this situation. It is a difficult one.

Well Saturday turned into a very busy day. I felt like I was on the go the entire day but it was not that craxed feeling, so that was good. I did several batches of laundry yesterday and caught up there. Put together a good size grocery order, pulled my coupons and headed out the door. The store was mobbed but I decided to smile, and just walk my way through each isle with no time pressure on my shoulders. Bought myself a cup of tea and I went through my list one item at a time. Spent way too much money but it was stuff for the week and Easter dinner too. Does anyone else find the cost of food getting crazier and crazier? I spent $174 with Peapod last week and that was without meats. Today at Stop & Shop the bill was $239. Anyhow, brought in the groceries, put them all away. Organized the shelves, threw away stuff in the refrigerator, put away the appropriate piles of laundry into their respected owners rooms then made a sandwich for Bill and myself. Billy was off snowboarding at Hunter Mountian with his "girl" friend, Rob was working and Katie was hanging out with my FIL. I just love fresh cold cuts so Bill and I got a nice sandwich and some nice talking for about 30 minutes. Well then I ran to the butcher for the leg of lamb........another $53...........my wallet never zipped, lol. Put the lamb away into the frig and then I decided to run to the mall. Went to Chicos and bought myself the jacket I wanted, a matching tank top (both made out of their Travelers collection) and a brown long sleeve t-shirt. With my $25 off coupon, the birthday bonus, my 5% Passport club and then the additional 30% off the Travelers collection brought my total to $94......yea me, lol. I just love a bargin, especially at that store. Came home and put my chicken into the oven. I cooked it in one of those Reynolds bags with some carrots and onions. While that was cooking I went to Dunkin Donuts and bought the boys gift cards for their baskets, and then into CVS for peeps (no chocolate ones) and some hair stuff for Katie's basket. Picked Miss Katie up from my sister's house since my FIL had dropped her off there earlier so she could color eggs with her cousins. I had hard boiled my eggs early while we were eatting lunch. After dinner Katie colored the eggs, we cleaned up and then I headed upstairs and put together the baskets. I was in bed by 11:15 and sound asleep not long after that. Busy day like I said above!

I haven't read any of the other responses but that girl definitely has problems.
