Can you find some time to tell us about your Easter?

I started my post, got side tracked, began again and read it and decided it sounded too depressing which I didn't mean it to be at all.

Yup work for me tomorrow morning. I am beat and will be heading upstairs shortly. Spent my early afternoon cleaning up and getting my dinning room fixed up. The cats are still making a mess in there and now I keep plastic down along the radiators all the time. I pull them up on Sundays. I had the windows open, sprayed the carpet w/Febreeze, lit several candles (white lilac), plugged in two Glade scents into the electric sockets..........then set the table with my spring table cloth and good dishes. Even pulled out my FIL's mothers silverware. My parents and Bill's got here around 3:00. We had some kelbasa to tie us over. My butcher told me to cook the lamb for 1 hour and 30 minutes but I knew it was not going to be long enough. The lamb was almost 7 pounds (no bone). It was too pink even after being in the oven for 2 hours. I kept it in for about another 20 minutes before sitting it on the counter. When anyone else cooks lamb do you eat it pink or well done? Just curious. We also had a spiral cut ham, red skinned garlic mashed potatoes, string beans, asparagus, corn, gravy, holidaise sauce (for the asparagus), and crescent rolls. Finished off with coffee/tea and some ice box cake. Our parents left here about an hour ago. Bill helped me clean the rest of the dishes, put away the left over cakes and reapply my new plastic in the dinning room. Fire place is one, Bill is taking with his friend John and well after I am done here I think I will hit the sack. Actually need to call my walking buddy so see if she wants to walk in the morning. Rob goes back to school, spring break is done. Katie will be home one more day and she is going to spend the day with my FIL. He took the day off and they are going to head to Dave and Busters in the afternoon for lunch and games. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday. If you were home alone hope you got to enjoy that if you with family hope that was enjoyable too.

Evening Everyone,

Nancy, I'm not sure what you put in your first post but the one you posted did seem pretty reflective to me.

Mine was okay -- not horrendous, but not great.

Saturday afternoon I went down to ex's place to stay with our son (who's totally disabled) while ex went to Vigil Mass on Saturday night. The only chair he had for me was unpadded wood, and several hours in it left my sciatica screaming. Then the guest bed was unmade and piled up with junk, so I wasn't able to get to bed until midnight. Next morning I cooked Easter breakfast for him (sausages and biscuits) then went home. I pretty much had to stay in my room because my roommate had her family in. I was worn out, both physically and emotionally, so I spent most of it in bed. But roomie gave me a plate of their dinner, which was very nice.

But at least my son was in a good mood. He can't talk, but he laughs a lot.

I really enjoy her website too, and the informational emails she sends out (plus I'd love to look like her, she's in great shape).
