Finished up some crochet projects, taught my classes and ate too much dinner (again). Can't understand what is up with me and the food. Can I blame the bad reaction to that medicine? Guess not....
Hope the rest of you had a good day. I am ready for bed!
Jdeb a Zumba question if you don't mind............do you have set routines for set music that you practice and learn then teach to a class or just set moves and the class just has to follow along? I am confused, years ago I did a Jazzercise class and they were set routines and the teacher just mixed up which songs she would play each week. It took several weeks to get used to most of the routines. I am thinking if I were watching you and trying to keep up now knowing a routine I would probley have thrown in the towel.
Well I am heading upstairs in like 3 minutes. I had a busy day at work but managed to get my backside out of there on time and met Miss Katie at the bus stop. We ran home, changed our clothes, made a quick snack and back out the door in 10 minutes. Our drive out to the east end was nice, we chatted.......got out to the barn and it was chilly. Katie and I brushed Daniel and you would not believe the amount of hair that came off that horse. It was so gross.....hair flying everywhere. It was all over my jacket, in my nose and mouth, just gross. Katie took Daniel out to the ring and was lunging him, she went to switch from the lunge line to his halter and well he spooked and took off. I was just on my way out to watch them and all I saw was horse running towards me. YIKES, Dan can still move that horse behind after 20 years. We tried to catch him but he kept running back and forth, finally I had to get Kim, who ownes the barn and she caught him. I stayed inside watching her girls while she helped Katie. I was upset and it scared the crap out of me, I could see it scared Katie too. She wanted to just go home at that point but I made her lunge him more and then ride him. She did not want to ride him, she was frightened but I felt it was important to show Daniel who was the boss. So after his 15 minute run, his time on the lunge line then another 15 minutes of Katie on his back he was soaking wet and exhausted. So after a long cool down, some more brushing and grooming Katie and I headed home. She did her homework in the car and when we got home we both jumped into the shower. My sister Sharon came down from Conn and brought my birthday gift and joined us for some leftovers. She stayed until about 8:30 and then headed back to my parents house. Tomorrow she will head over to our middle sisters for some dinner and company. I have an appointment with my walking buddy tomorrow at 6:30 so I need to head upstairs and get under my blankets. I hope you all had good days and a good night.
I am definitely missing some of my beauty sleep, but I practically forgot what day of the week it was, so I NEED to check in here and catch up with all of you.

Evening Everyone,
It's been a really busy day that started at 8 am with 3 hours in the dentist chair and I came home with a temporary crown on my back molar.

I have much to learn to be the "technically great" instructor I want to be, but the students are having a great time and I'm having fun.
I have about 16 different routines for each hour class.

It was just another day here.
