I like so want to skip work today but I aint allowed.........boo hoo! Pulled myself from those warm sheets and got dressed to head out for that walk. Not warm enough for me yet to be outside so we headed to the gym and did our 1 1/2 miles. Man you take off for a week and it takes me a week to get back into it. Just finished my steel cut oats and my tea. Thinking which WW plan to follow this week......flex or core. Such difficult choices........lol. I was going to make Taco's tonight for the family which are not on core and high in points but I also think I will make some chili which is low in points and is on core. I know what I need to do.....now just doing it. Work is a full day, yuck with a run at lunch time to CVS for some Zantac (Bill is out) and the butcher for my ground beef (95% for both the chili and the tacos). My time slot just opened for the shower so I need to grab it now so maybe I can be to the office on time. I will pop in later when the boss goes for coffee. Have a good day ladies.........oh Sassy do you really walk in the buff? Aren't there laws against that or do they do things different in Virgina?

Good Morning,

Looks like the sun is trying to peek out. We're supposed to be in the 50's today. It was still a cold evening for dog walking but Otto has been very energetic the past few nights and meeting up with his best bud Cody inspires him to keep up the pace.

So much for me not stepping in to be Switzerland. Oldest DD called me last night and put me right in the middle. It all boils down to money that will have to be expended for a shower. Oldest DD mentioned how much she had to spend for the shower for the wedding party she was in last year. Younger dd won't overextend herself in that way. They have different views on money which would explain why the older one is in so much debt and the other one isn't. These two are 22 months apart and are and have been like oil and water and different ends of the personality chain as you can get. Anyway what started out as a conversation where I stated that I would not be put into the middle escalated into something else and she ended up hanging up on me. That pretty much sent me over the edge yesterday. She did call and apologized and we both agreed that this is something that younger DD needs to discuss with the matron of honor and that it probably wasn't a topic that should be discussed between the 2 of them. It was just not a good day yesterday. I had a scary episode at work where I took my glasses off for a minute and then couldn't clear my vision. It scared the you know what out of me. So this whole after work phone call put me into complete meltdown. It just a good thing that DH seems to the clear headed level headed one at the moment.

I decided last night that I needed to start gently working out again. However the alarm went off, DH poked me to either turn it off or get up I must have turned it off and ended up oversleeping. So much for that plan. I guess today's plan will have to be a stress reduction and a reduction in my stress eating that is at an all time high at the moment. Not sure I would survive a kick in the bu** but a gentle nudge in a different direction would be nice.

It will probably be a stay after 5 day today. Our filing is nowhere near being completed and the fear of putting loose papers in a box for moving isn't a great idea. No one seems to get to the task during work hours so I may stay for awhile after work and see how much I can get done.

Patty-hope DH gets the final OK on the job-that must be frustrating. Rhonda-thinking of you. Li-Deb-scary about Daniel yesterday. Lori-scary about that ceiling fan. That reminded me of the time when I pulled the chain on a hall fixture and that actually did crash on my head! Margie-absolutely love the new hair! You really look fantastic! Grace-glad to hear that DD and GS are doing well. Sorry to hear about the medication issues. Nancy-hope you're feeling better each day. I know I've forgotten someone and something but please excuse my brain for not retaining things real well these days. Hope you each have a good day.

I never think of doing a stir fry with shrimp.

No pounding pavement in the buff for me...ew. lol

Have been pounding the pavement, but not today. It seems that someone thought she was still 20 and could overhand smash the ball like she did back in the day. And wrenched her back. I won't name any names but she was really an idiot.

So, since I'm sidelined for a bit, I'm actually at the office doing work!

LOL ... I was going to mention taxes in my post, but didn't want you all to know how far behind we are!
