CONGRATULATIONS, Ginger! Your husband's spine sounds so painful. Weird, but the dr. told Dad he'd never seen such a bad back as his too, but he was probably older than your husband when the dr. first said it even though it was injured in the military. Four years seems like a long time to wait for a pension, but believe it or not, my dad waited FORTY!! The good thing about it was it was retroactive for 40 years, so when the payoff finally came it was great. Hope all works out well for you and DH.

Good to hear from you, Marianne. I hate winter too and think I have SAD even in Florida. I hibernate from about late October to late Feb. or early March, depending on the weather. When the days start getting longer and the sun is out more I have the uncontrollable urge to dig and plant flowers. All the neighbors know that spring must be near when I am up to my elbows in mud. :-) Where did you live prior to NE? I think I would stay in the fetal position if I had to live in a cold climate again. I was born in Washington, DC, but have lived here most of my life.

My daughter, SIL, and grandson eat extremely healthy. Wish they lived here to influence me.

I think I must have slept on my neck weird. Usually, I put a magnet on it if it hurts very badly. The cold may have settled in that joint too. It's better now, thanks.

I saw the outfit you wore for Zumba! You are a much braver woman than I am, although you're probably in a lot better shape too. I can't seem to stay well long enough to stay regular with Zumba and Flexx-It. I was doing so well there for a while.

No word from Rob when he arrived at the Philadelphia airport. He was supposed to call and let me know he got there OK. His recruiter told him several times to do that. I should email him and tattle. ;-) I think Rob was too focused and in shock to do anything but be where he was supposed to be at the right time. They don't get phone privileges unless they earn them, so it will probably a
