Good morning everyone. Anyone finding it hard to believe it's Thursday already?Debbie, if I were you I'd have second thoughts about going to work today! What a day at the office for you yesterday!
Dad got his VA pension for 16 years, then suddenly the govt. decided he didn't qualify (???) and stopped it. He and Mom had tried off-and-on to get it reinstated without success. My 2 sisters and I jumped on it some years ago and went through the head of the VA for the State of FL I'd come to know through my political volunteer work, a congressman, and a senator. I think the VA realized we were NOT going to go away. :-) Persistence pays off!
I'm exhausted and coming down with a cold today, so it's hard for me to feel positive. But at least my son is healthy and happy, so that's all that matters.
I have a Nikken pillow with magnets in it that is ergonomically shaped, but is hard as a brick. It took me a few days to get used to it, but now I have to use it. It supports my head and neck better than a standard pillow. I did toss and turn a lot last night with all the coughing.
I need a miraculous bra! Seems we never lose the weight where we need to most. Always the chest is the first to go, and we seem to gain in reverse order. Not fair!
Thanks for the compliment about my "baby". :-) I wish so much that I knew what's going on. It's on my mind constantly. I just pray he's doing well. I'd like to shape up the way they do, but don't think I'd like to go about it that way. Too stressful!
