Good morning everyone. I was looking at my list of favorites today; right under "the perfect apple pie" is "the perfect butt". Sometimes I think I send myself a lot of mixed messages ;)

And I won. I did. Because I could. It was like my eyes were open for the first time and I knew that it all began in me. With giving myself permission to be as strong as I know all women are deep down inside.

It's easy to slip back down into fear. To stop yourself from doing things because you're scared you will fail, but part of giving yourself permission to try is also giving yourself permission to fail... AND to succeed.

The lines above are from a woman who finally

Ginger, do you do any kind of cardio exercise? That would help to burn more calories, so you might see results a little faster. When I do Zumba regularly, I lose a little weight, but I lose inches more, particularly around my middle!! Now, if I could just stay well enough to do it regularly again.

My barky cough is back. Will I ever get back to Zumba?? Tim called this morning and he's got a cold too. I need to go see Dad today, because no one else is available, so I'm hoping the cough suppressant will work and I'll use hand sanitizer a lot.

It's beautiful out again today, so I'd like to get Dad outside to feed the ducks and let him soak up some Vitamin D. I'd take him out for a ride if he'd be up for it. I've told him we can do that anytime. We just can't stay too long, becaue I can't get him to a bathroom.

I'd like to stop by a nursery and see what I can come up with for the 2 giant pots out back. Actually, there's a 3rd really huge one Rob made for me from landscape ties. It looks like a giant basket. It could hold a small tree. I have it on the step-up where the little waterfall into the pool is.

I got a call from Lauren last night that Claudea and Andie were playing on their steps and Andie fell down them (all 11!!). She had on sunglasses and the hinge pinched some skin in the fold of her eye and took tiny chunks out. She was bleeding badly and Lauren was freaking out. She got her to the ER where my sister met her. They decided not to do stitches, because pulling the skin together where there were chunks would look worse. Skin heals quickly at her age, so they're using anti-scar and antibiotic ointments on it. They also had to watch her for a concussion. She's so adorable and so tiny (29 lbs. at 4 years old). I hope she doesn't have scarring. Also, Monday is her endoscopy and biopsy of her esophagus. That's quite a procedure for someone her age. They'll put her out before they do the bloodwork and other stuff to traumatize her less. Please keep her in your prayers.

Guess I should eat and finish getting dressed. Heaven knows what I'll do with this hair today. I'm going to cut some flowers from my garden and take to Dad. The ones he and Mom got for their anniversary are about shot.

Hurray, it's Friday! Just another day for me, but for those of you who work outside your home or have spouses who do, I know it's a big day.

Man lady you just kill me! If you are confused then I am a lost case because Bill mentioned both s*x and cleaning within a 5 minute conversation...........man I am in trouble.............can one clean and have s*x at the same time? "Shaking my head thinking, maybe when I was 20".

I think we should all book flights, one month from today to Jacksonville, Florida. Rent a van and just show up at Rhonda's with Margaritas, cheese & crackers and crumb c*ke! What would she do send us away?

I no longer want to be unhappy with the way I look and the only way I can be happy is to realize that I am no longer 20, to work out as much as my life will permit, eat as healthily as I can, give myself the forgiveness I need when I slip up, give myself permission to enjoy meals out with friends, and to accept that I have aged.

Karen, what no cleaning or s*x on your birthday...........maybe chocolate thought! Sorry about your dd and the missing shirt. Maybe she needs to confront this other young lady but I hope she does it discreetly so she does not look like the bad guy. Good luck there. Well the news about hubby's business sounds good, keep us posted on that. Hope you have a good day today. I can not believe you painted his room so quickly, Katie wants hers painted and I keep putting it off. Maybe this week I will take her to the paint store and let her pick out her color.

Nancy it sounds like your feeling better but I would still keep that doctor appointment anyway. That cold has lingered for a while and if you have that root canal the last thing you need is your body fighting off another infection instead of healing that tooth. Can you get a ride on mower with a enclosed cabin and AC? Probley not, lol. For years we had a Sears ride on mower then a John Deer but when they died we decided to replace with a landscaper. Bill was sick of yelling at the boys to do it and then I was going back to school so..............now we pay a landscaper. Actually Bill works it out in trade, maintenance on his trucks for cutting, edging, fertilizing, etc. Hey you want books I have so many that I want to get rid of. Next week I will pack you a box...........if you want them.
