Good morning everyone. I was looking at my list of favorites today; right under "the perfect apple pie" is "the perfect butt". Sometimes I think I send myself a lot of mixed messages ;)

And I won. I did. Because I could. It was like my eyes were open for the first time and I knew that it all began in me. With giving myself permission to be as strong as I know all women are deep down inside.

It's easy to slip back down into fear. To stop yourself from doing things because you're scared you will fail, but part of giving yourself permission to try is also giving yourself permission to fail... AND to succeed.

The lines above are from a woman who finally

Unfortunately, I don’t think there are any code words here today!

I kind of feel sorry for the girl that is stealing, I think she has mental issues.

Thank you so much, Nancy.

I totally agree that the dreariness, lack of sunshine, constant illness, etc., all contribute to bring me down.

Hugs.

Good Afternoon,

Moving day at the office. Officially I was told that I was to sit in the office until the phones were disconnected. My coworkers felt it wasn't fair that I had to sit in the office alone so we all agreed to meet at the office...well I got a call about 8AM that no one was expected in the old office and to wait for a further call. Unfortunately my coworker had already come in which is a 45 minute trip for her so I invited her over, our other coworker was also on her way so I told her to come over and we would wait together. I put the coffee pot on, one coworker brought bagels and muffins and then the waiting began. By 1:30 we were hungry and were told it would be another couple of hours. Well we've already wasted all of our days. We finally took a ride to the new space, which by the way is really nice and a real step above where we were. We got the guided tour and finally decided that my two coworkers were going home and would be in bright and early tomorrow and I offered that if there was anything to be done this evening I would be available since tomorrow is out for me and that they could call me for Sunday if need be. If I know my two coworkers they'll have me all set and ready to go for Monday. We still can't believe that by early afternoon that if things weren't ready they wouldn't say just don't come in. This whole thing was obviously run by MEN! Anyway it's late afternoon and have not gotten anything done that could have been done. Everyone got to see Otto in action since my coworker left an unprotected muffin on the table and Otto took the opportunity to enjoy!

Ginger, I'm sorry you're feeling so down. I think the other ladies have expressed rather well what I'm also thinking. I think we all have the wiggles and jiggles in maybe places that we would rather not have them. You're doing good things for yourself and your overall health by eating right and exercising. Don't cut out fat all together-certain fats are good for you and your body needs some of them and lets face it some of those fat free products don't taste too good! Your food should be something that tastes good and that you enjoy. I watch a cooking show on the Food Network called Healthy Eating with Ellie Krieger. She actually advocates in some of her recipes to use a full fat product but in a very small amount so that you can enjoy that full fat taste without sabotoging yourself. Keep up the good work! You are doing good things for yourself!

Rhonda-hope you're feeling better. I hope you're feeling better and hope that Andie is OK after the fall and thoughts and prayers with Claudea (I hope I got little one correctly)

Nancy-hope you're feeling better as well. I hope you kept the appointment with the doctor. I'm longing to sit outside in my chair with a good book as well! And yes I would love to run away to SD! If you need an extra hand around the farm the DH is available! He enjoys hard work and is really good at fixing things!

Sassy-hope brighter days are headed your way.

So many good thoughts about self acceptance in posts today! There are many days that I wish I could get rid of the wiggle here and the jiggle there but I also know trying to look my best and dress myself in things that are flattering can put a smile on my face and say you know you don't look so bad for a 54 year old! And I always love when my girls tell me I hope that I look so good at 54!

Better go do something constructive. DD and her BF are headed down tomorrow AM and I need to get the dog hair under control since he's so allergic.

TGIF everyone!

Susan

You talk with the father and then permanently withdraw her welcome into your home if you haven't already.
