Speaking of Camp IntheBuff, I had my annual date with Dr. Poke-n-Proddin this morning. I really love her, I do. She is not one to linger. Unless you have problems or questions and then she gives you all the time you need. Thankfully, I was able to report that I FEEL GREAT. Truthfully, I do. And we laughed because I had just told her I haven't had a regular work out schedule for the past two years. And did nothing...n-o-t-h-i-n-g over the winter. My bp was normal...high for me...but still normal. And she brought up the exercising thing..."you're bp will be down to YOUR normal range when you start exercising regularly again." No mention of my weight. Which wasn't any higher than it was for my last exam a year ago. No LOWER, but no higher. LOL. I forgot to fast this morning so I have to go back and give blood Friday at 8:15.

And because I do like all of the uncomfortableness...I headed straight out her office door, down the hall and in to make my mammo appointment. Which I dread more than anything. Because of the issues I had where I had to have one done on the left side very 6 months for two years. This year, instead of checking "diagnostic" I get to have "screening". Yay! Please toss up a prayer for me that when I go in for it Thursday morning at 10:00 that I don't have to have more done while there...falling under the "diagnostic" column and also that I don't get a call back. That's the worst...getting the call back, having to wait, yadda yadda. I would really appreciate it!

She knows me so well...her only other question to me was, "so how are you sleeping?" She knows that is a problem for me under the best of circumstances and non-existent when I'm stressed. Basically I told her..."keep the Lexapro coming, honey!" I only take 5mg (which she smiles about...it's half the recommended dose) but I don't care...even if it's basically the placebo effect...I'll take it!

I stopped at satanbucks and picked up a Big Gulp size Verona (thus NOT helping my sleeping issues!), came home and fixed an egg and have worked in the home office ever since.

Hi Patty! Nice picture but I do believe I took the detour today but I will find the right road tomorrow after getting lost a couple of times. I had chips! I haven't had them in months and DH bought some yesterday and I couldn't resist. I finished the bag so that is it for me! I am on the see it diet...I see it, I eat it!

No exercise. I just couldn't get myself up and out of the covers this morning. I felt much better running some errands and stopping by both DDs today. I got a good grandma fix and that always lifts my spirits.

Could someone explain to the medical billing departments that all insurance ID #s start with 3 letters? I am sick of getting EOBs saying we are not covered because they enter AV0 instead of AVO on the forms. Grrrrrrrrrr...another day on the phone or should I say on hold! Glad I got that out of my system.

Good luck at the doctor today Nancy. I do hope there is a non surgical solution. Keeping fingers crossed that the weather doesn't mess up your plans.

Your day yesterday sounds so relaxing. You sure got a lot in even with taking it easy.

The new office sounds really nice Susan. I wonder if you will all stay healthier with a green environment. It is supposed to make a difference with allergies, etc.

Sorry DD's BF is still sick. Good thing they stayed another night.

It is going to be a sad day at work for DH today. I think meeting for dinner is a good thing for all. I am still praying something comes along for DH and soon.

Maybe take Debs idea and order from Pea Pod?

Ugh...more snow, but then again it is still March...barely. We got hardly any this year and I guess it was a mixed blessing. I do miss a good snow storm at least once a year. Glad you enjoyed your friends food and wine.

Your Sunday sounded nice too, Karen. Too bad the trip to Va would be too hard for you. But, I see how football would be much more important right now especially with DS so involved.

Don't work too hard today...

OH, I can feel that you are ready to blaze a new path out of that forest. Glad you got to rest over the weekend. Hang in there...
