Happy Birthday Lori! Excellent reason to stay home and enjoy your birthday. A new drum? Is it for dancing? Love those Renaissance faires. Went to one in NC...had a great time.

How is that dress coming along on your new sewing machine?

You sound like me with getting all the poking and prodding done in just a couple of days. I did the mammo and cardiologist on the same day...now that was a stressful day. I do hope you get good results from the mammo and not call backs. Prayers are coming your way!

I do feel "Miss" Sarah will be fine. She may be taking a different road right now but taking a year might be just what she needs. Things do work out in the end. I did have a child take the 5 year plan with college and well, he is doing just fine now as a husband and father and provider.

Hi, Marianne! What a light bulb or aha moment you had! I wish I knew what switch was turned on that made it all happen. You ran 3 miles? Super! I am bowing down to you with your success. I am going to check out that site. Maybe it will give me a kick in the butt to change my eating habits.

What a wonderful post. The added bonus of helping to lift your depression with the exercise is great testiment to how getting healthier can do so much.

Isn't peapod great? What a lifesavor even for SAHM like DDs who can't get to the store with little ones. No more running out of milk!

Good for you for getting up and doing those early morning walks. Glad the kids were able to find leftovers in the fridge so you didn't have to make anything for them after the party. I am still trying to figure out why the DJs have to play the music so loud. No wonder our kids can't "hear" us.

Have a good day although it is going to be so busy. Hope you can get together with the "girls" from work for dinner soon. We should meet up some time soon too.

I hope we get to see a picture of you in your Rennaisance Faire outfit playing your new drum!
