Just thought I would start a link for making plans for the trip in October. It seems the posts are lost in another post.

I want to thank Rhonda for getting this started...you have been great with doing this Rhonda.

I think Williamsburg will be a great place to go and with the Best Western nearby it should be more doable. I like the idea of some down time and/or do everything. I am leaning towards driving and coincide it with a visit with family in NC. I can do a Norfolk airport run too. There is a 6:45 am flight out of Islip that gets in nice and early for you NYers. I am glad going here will work for our wonderful cl-Patty!

So...add your thoughts here. Also, let's get a tentative number of who will be going.

Come h*ll or high water I will be there. I just made up my mind that I am worth those 3 days away. I had such a wonderful time in DC meeting you wonderful ladies I won't let this opportunity pass me by. Life is just too darn short. If it is going to be Williamsburg then I will fly. Just saw Grace's post about Southwest Airlines and the cost and I would do that flight out of Islip Airport she mentioned. I would still consider renting a car/van and splitting the cost among several of us. This way we can possibly have more then one pick up time. SO I think the airport of choice is Norfolk, Virginia. Now I need to know what hotel or hotels we are considering and does anyone want me for a room mate. I do not think I can bring a crumb cake on the plane but I can bring my tea bags........lol.

I'll check and see what flights are available out of Logan to coordinate with your arrivals at Norfolk....
