Blah, blah, blah … head ache … ate multiple meals today and it isn’t even dinner time at our house.

(((((Hugs))))) to everyone who needs them.

Busy day, but with a nastily satisfying ending. I have a co-worker who loves to tell me what I've done wrong. Today she got a royal set-down from the boss for it. This is me, snickering up my sleeve (oh, I am so bad!).

Going to have a quiet evening trying to finish the baby blankie I'm making for my friend's granddaughter. Gotta get it shipped to Northern Ireland!

Hey there................everyone! There is a yack feast going on in my kitchen with all this testosterone flying around talking about the "old days", race cars, and wishes from the younger generation wishing they were around back in Bill's day, lol. I have no idea how long it is going to continue but it felt like a good time to escape and head in here and check on you ladies. Today was a busy one for me. Not stressful but busy nonetheless. No boss since he was in court this morning, a 30 minute stop into the office and then off to catch a train into NYC for the day. I ended up staying alone in the office/building until 5:45 so that I could organize for tomorrow morning. I was pleasantly surprised that my DD stepped up to the plate today after school. She emptied the dishwasher, made her bed, put away her laundry, did her homework and set the dinner table. She even offered to take the trash out..........I told her how much she did helped me and took some of the extra pressure off. Good feeling and a good night for me, work wise. Boys (Billy & Robbie) missed dinner since they were busy at the shop doing car stuff but they called before I could put anything away asking if I had some left. Of coarse, I always cook more then enough so in comes my boys with Billy's friend Keith in tow. Not sure if I told you about Keith but a few months ago while on a job site (he is a well driller for a his family business and he is only 20 years old) a steel pipe or beam fell off a hook and he tried to jump out of the way but it landed smack in the middle of his foot. The young man is on crutches, he lost the front half of his foot and has had several operations, grafts and is intense therapy. Somehow this kid is driving again, even though he is not supposed to. Well his uncle and Bill were friends from way back when (high school) and my Bill knows the entire family so it was weird when about a year ago Billy and him met each other at a mustang car show and became friends. Nice kid............well I fed him too, lol. Like I said I made plenty. So now all four guys are sitting in the kitchen talking cars, trucks, racing............whatever! I have a batch of beef vegetable soup simmering on the stove right now and I will be heading upstairs shortly. Not too exciting I am afraid.
