Since it's so late now, I thought I'd go ahead and start the check-in thread. How did everyone's day go? I know my post will be long to make up for 2 days.

My day was okay, just the usual insanity of dealing with the government all day. Tonight I'm going to knit (making a baby blankie for a friend's first grandchild) and watch Are You Smarter Than a Fifth-Grader? (I'm an addict).

Hey there girls..........never did get a chance to pop in today. I will go read what everyone was up to later. Made it to the gym this morning although I wanted to call my walking partner and bail. But I could not find the cordless phone so I took it as a sign from above to get my fat *ss dressed and head out the door. It was chilly this morning, I believe the car temp was reading 28 degrees. Work was supposed to be a short day but I had such a huge pile to go through, I was in high demand from a few clients (phone never stopped), spent time with my boss reviewing some of my problem files, then we had a client take us all to lunch. Wasn't that nice? He lives in North Carolina now and was up visiting family and he wanted to take us all out for all our help. He had his wife and 2 boys with him and then the 4 of us. We went Mexican.......a pitcher of Margarhitas and then lunch. Ole! Went back to the office with the idea of working till 3 but ended up staying until 5. I would have pulled the plug at 3 had Katie decided she wanted to take a ride out east to ride Daniel but since last week episode she has not been too eager. I think on Saturday or Sunday we will head out to ride him and I hope he is calmer and we will be less stressed. Sometimes going out there after my working most of the day and her going to school makes us a little over tired. I think he senses this and well lets face it over the winter they become spoiled with no one riding them. Time to retrain that horse. So I came home and washed a few dishes that were mine from breakfast that did not fit into the dishwasher. Katie turned the dishwasher on for me when she got home and she folded a batch of laundry, then did her homework and is now next door playing lacross with our neighbor. Billy and Robbie are at the shopp playing with their cars and Bill took a ride to the Ford dealer to talk about trading in his blue truck. Then man hates this new truck.....it is a 2008 and he has it just over a year now and dislikes it. So now since he sold the race cars, the trailer and now does not need the big monster he wants to trade it in for a regular truck, smaller. Could I scream......yes considering he paid over $50 thousand dollars for the darn thing and most likely he is going to loose over $10 thounsand by getting rid of it now. I told him not to buy it but does he ever listen to me.............no! On another note, Bill spoke with a friend of ours who is in the process of having granite countertops made and he took our measurements with him. He gave Bill a rough estimate of about $2,900 installed if we pick out from the selections of granite he has on his lot. We would have to rip out our old stuff but that is not a problem, especially with two sons. Well I just finished washing my floor in the kitchen and I need to put my chairs back inside. I made a pot of beef & barley soup yesterday and I have some warming on the stove now for myself. Hope you all had a wonderful day today. I sure hope our news around here was better then yesterdays. Have a good night ladies...............

Lots going on and I have a number of posts I want to address, so bear with me. Went to see Dad yesterday and after a few days of doing better he seemed down. He said nothing was going right that day. Suddenly, he burst into soft tears and said he'd had some really bad news the night before. I was so concerned and wanted to know what!! He said Mom had told him about Tim and me. I was livid and it was all I could do to contain it. I had emphatically told everyone Dad was not to be burdened with that. He has enough of a struggle to get back from the bad infection, medicine, his other ailments, and the trauma of having to live away from home. I spent a long time trying to reassure him that it was OK and

Working the whole afternoon, then watching movie and walking with my husband all night. Today, I am going to make good use of my time and fight with myself. Come on, make everyday deserve.

Great to hear you're having so much fun. I don't think the Zumba things here will be huge. It's just Christine's way of wanting to do something to help raise funds for breast cancer. One of them will be on a soccer field at Jacksonville University, so there should be plenty of room. Not sure about the other venues.

I was not impressed with the class with Beto in Winter Park. Even though it was a gymnasium, it was sold out with a minimum of 260 people, hot, and packed, as you mentioned. I was more disappointed in his choreography. I'll take Christine's, Tanya's, and Jani's over his. He is cute though.

I don't know if I'll go to a teacher convention in FL or not. It would be so incredibly huge, they'd probably have to have it in one of the biggest halls at the convention center (one of Erin's accounts :-) and have the jumbotron things. Now that I've been to one of his classes I'm kind of over that. I'd rather have Tanya come back.
