Donna you did your kitchen redo last year and I was wondering what did you do for your counters? Did you go with formica, granite or some other material? I am not sure if we should go with Silestone or the Granite? This weekend is the home show so I think I will check it out on Saturday. Anyone else redo their kitchen counters lately?

A friend of ours is doing granite in their house in Massachusets but he purchased it from a local company here. He took our measurements and and talked to this guy who said if we picked out a granite stone from what he has on his lot he could do it for $2900 installed but we have to rip out our old formica counter top. I have heard and read that light colored granite stains easily and has to be sealed a few times a year as opposed to the silestone that does not need to be sealed and does not stain...............not sure what I want to do. I hate making decisions sometimes because I know I need to live with this decision for a very long time.......very long.
