Friday was a much busier day then I wanted it to be. I went to the office and unfortunatly I did not leave until 3:15. Almost a full day on my day off. The big closing that I have worked so hard on did not go down and was pushed to Tuesday. I was so disappointed. However, the real estate broker who I have been working so hard with stopped by and brought me an American Express gift card for $50. That was so sweet and thoughtful. It's the first time I have gotten any kind of gift for me, made me feel good. That is always a good thing. Got home and gathered 3 bags of laundry together and dropped them off at the laundrymat. My washer died and our friend can not get here until later this afternoon so I needed to get that stuff done. I get to pick up the clothes later today. After I went to laundrymat I ran to the jewler. Remember that beautiful braclet my MIL gave me that belonged to her MIL, well I wore it on Sunday for the first time and I noticed when I got home that it was hanging off my wrist, the pin let go and the saftey chain was the only thing holding it there. OMG, I was so upset. So I headed there and dropped off the braclet. It is going to cost me $75 to fix it, ouch. But it needs to be done. I told Bill and he said not to worry. I also asked about the braclet that Rob gave me for Christmas. (I am having bad luck with braclets lately) He had one with purple stones and said he could get it in the blue stones without a problem so he ordered that for me and that will be in in two weeks......another $100 for that one! I guess no shopping at Chicos for me for a while, lol. I really hoped someone would have turned it in.........makes me mad. Well from my jewlery adventures I took Katie to her girl friends house for a sleep over and then ran to the diner and grabbed a cup of their homemade lobster bisque that they make only on Friday nights. Watched some TV and they relaxed.........actually fell asleep on the couch around 10:30 while Bill was on the computer. Really exciting at my house.

Sorry about the expense for the jewlery. You never know about that bracelet. Many years ago I couldn't find my engagement ring. We looked everywhere and it was months before it finally reappeared. I put it on a plate in my dish cabinet and apparently unloading and loading the dishwasher I was using the same dishes. I finally got down to the bottom of the dishes and there was my ring. Strange things can happen!

It was nice of the broker to reward you for your hard work!

Hope the washer gets fixed soon. I think washers and dryers are by far the hardest appliances to go without!

I would not mind if the stove finally died completely.........boo hoo. But the washer, dryer and the frig are biggies. I have a basket full of whites now and more light colors. I am thinking that when I pick up the two bags from yesterday I should drop these off but...........yesterday cost me $16.00. The cheap me is thinking ask my sister to borrow her washer for 2 loads and scrounge a cup of tea and some sister time, lol. Then head home to dry the loads and finish my cleaning here.
