Good morning everyone! I woke up feeling like a teenager. How exciting! Or it would be if the reason for the feeling was something other than my

Good Morning,

Looks like a gray gloomy day but that's how yesterday started out. I was hoping for another nice day so I could take a good outdoor walk for my workout. I could do that but it's always nicer in the sunshine!

It's still early but I changed my day for taking my Actenol and you have to stay up and then not eat for 1/2 hour so I thought I'd come down to the basement start some laundry and catch up on the board.

Never did make up my grocery list for today. I was tired last night and just couldn't get my mind focused on that task. I'll have to tackle that next.

I found $15 yesterday so I'm going to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure this morning after tackling the grocery shopping.

Cleaning up my desk area needs to be tackled as well. I do have some bills that need to be paid and much like the piles of laundry I have piles of paper that need to be sorted through. I've really let it get out of control.

That's about it from my neck of the woods. Hope you all have a super Sunday.

Karen I have never heard of Morp..........it sounds like fun. Do they have a dance in the school gym? Is the prom held in the gym as well or do your school do it at catering halls?

My niece's prom here was last night. Seems early to me. I have no idea what her dress looked like and am eager to see pictures. Erin called last night and we were reminiscing about prom dress shopping for her at Lillie Rubin's when she was in school. I think I was more excited than she was!

Your yard plans sound as though they're coming along nicely with the trees. So sorry the deer ate your flowers. I can't have sunflowers because of the squirrels. They destroy them the first night I put plants out.

Good morning........I never did make it back to the board to actually do a Saturday post. The day got away from me. I ended up doing a quick morning shower after I did a bathroom clean for both bathrooms. Also ran the vacuum upstairs before heading out. My sister called me and said I could borrow her washer/dryer. So I stopped and got fresh NY bagels and cream cheese and headed to my sisters house. She lives in the next town but we are less then a mile from each other. Did my two batches of laundry, enjoyed a nice gushy bagel (real treat I never get them anymore), then I helped her clean up her den........her kids are worse then Katie is the slob department. Headed back home, stopped and picked up the two batches I had dropped off on Friday night. Returned home to put away all my laundry when our friend came over and fixed my machine.......yeah! Cheap $10 part he said...and Bill said get a new machine, lol. Packed away all my Easter stuff/baskets/cha-cha's and put the bins into the basement. Ran the vacuum through the main part of the house and put down new plastic in my dinningroom because of the cats. I did manage to open most of our windows yesterday and air the house really good. It was near 60 and what a wonderful treat it was. Then my parents came by and dropped my younger sisters dog off for the night. Sharon is down in Florida with her husband and my parents were dog sitting Bridget a Jack Russell who Katie just loves. I believe the feelings are mutual, lol. So Katie had a sleep over with Bridget. Bill and I met up with our friends (the same ones that ditched us last week) for dinner. Ended up at a nice Italian resturant next town over. We were home by 11:00 and under our blankets by 11:15, lol.

On to today............I am trying to focus on the positive Miss P but last night I was not seeing it. I had a melt down about my hair, my pants were too tight, I can not seem to stay focused on my diet, just a general melt down. Aunt Flo is expected next week and I am guessing she might have played a role. So a glass of wine and fine food and I let it go...............now this morning I had my tea and I will fix myself some scrambled egg whites then I am going to head over to the gym. Our weather is kind of yucky looking, chance of rain and it is windy so Katie and I are not going to see the horse. We need to refocus on him again so the game plan is to head out on Tuesday after work/school. Instead I will head to the gym in about 30 minutes and get my 2 miles in then home for a hot shower. I have stuff to do around here and I have to pay bills. I mean HAVE to. Dinner is going to be grilled chicken cutlets on nice fresh bakery rolls with plenty of lettuce, tomato & onions.

Hope you all have a wonderful day today. Nancy no thanks to the snow, I think if we got hit with snow right now it would put us all over the edge. Hope you enjoy it!

Good Sunday Morning! I am looking at the positive today even though it is cloudy and gloomy. It was supposed to be the nicer day of the weekend today but it turned out that yesterday was. One out of two ain't bad! I did get some crocheting done. Worked on some on going projects and made 3 preemie hats. They are so cute...they fit on an orange. I can do one an hour and it makes me feel good to see something done on my church pile. The senior blanket and baby blankets are more than half way done. I like to jump around a little so I don't get bored.

Morp...now that is a teenage thing! I guess it goes with zits. Actually never heard of it myself. They used have prom nights

Be like a postage stamp.  Stick to it until you get there.
