Good morning everyone. For the past 2 weeks I have been awake at 4 every morning. First full day with chickens and I oversleep!

I'm planning a healthy Indian menu, with veggie samosas, fresh mangoes, chicken curry with rice, and a light coconut custard.)

Sounds delicious!

I have work coming out of my ears but I am playing for 10 minutes. My boss just left and will be gone the rest of today and all day tomorrow. Sure I am off tomorrow, lol. Having Bill wake them would be fine but who would wake Bill? Actually Katie is the only one that actually wakes up with an alarm besides me. The boys in this family sleep right thru..........This is the morning schedule if everyone sticks the to schedule: Katie up at 6:00 (shower and get ready for school but she goes back to bed because she is tiered and lays there until 6:45 when Bill gets up). Bill 6:40-6:45 (shower and get ready for work. Bill and Katie leave around 7:30 (he drops her off at school then heads to the shop). I usually get up at 6:00-6:15 (wash up, get dressed and head to the gym). I get home at 7:15 and then I knock hard on Billy's door to wake him. He usually stolls out of his room around 7:40 and Bill always give a knock on his door to say he is leaving too. I try to jump in the shower at 8:00 and Rob is after me at 8:30 since he does not have to be to class until 9:30. Thank goodness we have a good size water heater that warms the water up quickly. Katie is the longest in the shower and that is why Bill gives the water a little time to reheat. I tend to spend more time in the shower at night (shaving) so during the morning shower it's a quick one. This old house you can not run the water anyplace else if someone is showering or else........lol. Now we are all out of the house be 9:00 so I usually turn the dishwasher on as I leave. Now evenings.............Katie used to shower at night but she said her hair does not do well in the morning so she prefers that morning shower time. That is why she gets up at 6:00 but because she is up at 6:00 she really needs to be in bed between 9:00 & 9:30. But on a selfish note my house rule has been since the kids were little we had bed times and curfews. We joke but the rule is no kids should be seen or heard after 9:00pm because now that is "our" time. The kids follow the rule 95% of the time. Of course its not a strict rule but I always believed in having kid time and adult time. Usually now the boys are out and about but Katie usually heads upstairs around then. On the weekend she will watch a movie or go online but on school days she will read for a little while but lately the computer (laptop time) has increased. The boys usually are in between 11 and 11:30 but I have noticed they meet with friends for coffee at the local Dunkin Donuts and they have been strolling in closer to midnight and of course getting up for them is getting harder. It just throws off the morning schedule...........gosh listen to me whine. You would think I am so strick, well maybe I am. I just like things to fairly organized.
