TGIF! I'm hoping that Miss P hasn't started the beach party without us! No words of wisdom...what's on the agenda for the day? Exciting plans for the weekend ahead? I need someone to live vicariously through!

Good Morning,

Friday at last! This has been a very long week and I'm glad that the work week is coming to an end. At least there's a paycheck attached to the week.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...blue skies and temperatures that are supposed to be near 80. Another day of dreaming of playing hookey!

I had planned on a workout this morning but apparently power went out in the house yesterday and although I fixed the time on my clock it didn't dawn on me to fix the time on the alarm. I think it went off around midnight and no I didn't get up. The next thing I knew I was running behind because I had overslept. Extreme fatigue has been such an issue this week.

Nothing much else on the agenda except the "w" word. Hoping the XY's in the office can behave themselves although my shovel stands at the ready.

Donna-hope the headache has departed.

Deb-MN-sorry to hear about all the aggravation over the party. That truly is annoying and do hope things work out.

Rhonda-glad to hear that you're hearing from Rob. Hope he'll be feeling better.

Patty-hope everything is OK. Chickens behaving themselves? Planning for our arrival at the beach party? The cabanas boys lined up with our beverages?

Well better get the day moving along. TGIF everyone and hope you have a fantastic Friday!

Susan, I wish I had some outstandingly exciting thing to share, but nada. In a way, I guess that's good - it could be outstanding in a terrible way.

How soon do you get the MRI results back on your knee?

He's my fitness opposite, he doesn't like group fitness.

It's a shame about the schedule conflict. Did you say she's already mailed her invitations? If not, I'd get yours in the mail, so people know you ordered them.

Nancy, good luck with your MRI. Have fun this weekend!

Susan, glad you're getting a break this weekend. This past weekend has not been the best.

Donna, it does sound exciting up there. Glad spring has arrived and that your headache is gone.

Patty, a little trazedone in the chicks' water may do the trick. ;-)

J-Deb, glad to know your drummers are not from the local high school. LOL! I don't know where ours are from, but we have a lot of Cuban, Mexican, Columbian, and other South Americans in Florida. A week from tomorrow is our Relay for Life event at the Univ. of North Florida to benefit breast cancer. I may give the dance studio a call. The worst they can say is no.

It's a gorgeous day here, already in the 80's. Lots of blue sky. I should be out planting a flat of purslane around the pool, but I did the 15 min. abs class, Zumba, and the hour Flexx-It class and this F-I instructor is the best. She really kicks our butts. So, now I'd really like to take a nap.

I'm going to meet my sister and her boy friend at a place near town to hear a band that supposed to be really good. I was so surprised she invited me. You can bring chairs and picnic dinners. It's a group of medical professionals, mostly MD's, who've played together a long time and they're doing a benefit for a preservation society in that part of town. I'm really looking forward to it. Hope people will dance!!

My sister in MD had a not so good check-up at the dr. -- high bp, cholesterol, and pre-diabetic!! She is starting NutriSystem. I've wanted to try that. I like the idea of pre-packaged meals. Now that it's just me here, I think I'll look into it too to give me a jump start. Don't know that I'll do it, but I did just get a coupon in the mail for 3 weeks of meals free and there's a "silver" program too. Don't know if I qualify for that. I'm going to check the web site.

That's about it from here. Have a great Friday!
