First I'd like to beat your BIL over the head with the shovel and then use it for a very large hole! He really doesn't have a clue about much of anything. You're right your sister deserves so much more. Thankfully, she does have you as source of getting out what must be a huge load of frustration.
I know it must be very difficult to keep quiet about all of this. Keeping her in my thoughts and prayers.
The day got off to a very slow start and wasn't sure that I was going to get much accomplished. But a whole lot of Suzie Homemaker and a bit of Betty Crocker this evening and it turned out to be a rather productive day.
My hall pantry that has once again become a huge mess got a thorough clean out. My DD is a huge culprit for buying things to eat and then never finishing anything. There must have been at least 4 boxes of different crackers and of course all stale at this point. I've really cut back on buying and trying not to buy new until the old is finished. We'll see how long it lasts.
By around 4PM I had had it. There really has to be more than going to work from 9 to 5 every day and then spending all of Saturday on housework. DH came home from work and asked me what I had done today. I really hope he was kidding because there was definitely a frying pan coming out-and it wasn't to cook in!
It was a beautiful day here and Otto and I enjoyed a nice afternoon walk. The park was full of people on the tennis courts and kids on the playground. Lots of bike riders out too. I'm sure the temperatures must have gotten close to 70 or better.
Washing machine has just shut off and the dryer is full of laundry from yesterday so I best better don my housekeeper attire and get at least one load done.
Patty-glad to hear the XY's are both happy campers. I'm happy to hear that your DH is enjoying his new job.
Patty, I'm glad to hear both your men are happy campers. That has to make life more pleasant for you. What can I say about your BIL?? He needs to be smacked in the face with a shovel and maybe it would knock some sense-itivity into him. He sounds so callous and self-centered and doesn't deserve your sister. Come to think of it, she doesn't "deserve" him either. She deserves much better. It's a good thing she has you, but I know it's hard on you to have to keep all that to yourself. I'll keep
Wasn't today the day our Donna was having lunch with Lance Armstrong?
