Is your weekend over or are you planning to push it for one more day? What did you do this weekend or just today? Were you busy with friends and family or did you get some quiet time with a book and a chair? Did anyone have a big family meal or did you do take out?

Well I for one can not believe it is Sunday night already which means back to the grind stone in the morning for me. I have popped in through out the week but posting has been minimal to say the least. Thanks to you who wished me well. I do miss you when I am not here. Just an over whelming week for me. Co-worker on vacation caused me to pull some serious extra time. I usually average 27 hours a week and this week I put in 47.5. Not a good thing or feeling when your kid is on spring vacation. The guilty mom in me felt bad but she was busy and had fun. Spent Monday with our neighbor, Tuesday with my dad out at the barn, Wednesday with my MIL, Thursday & Friday with her girl friend. She did the movies, spent a couple hours with her cousins, rode the horse and still got her English assignment done before Sunday (yeah!). We had a beautiful week weather wise and I managed a good 1 1/2 mile walk each morning before heading into the office. Friday night we had our electrician here digging a trench then followed but his early arrival on Saturday morning (bright and early). Saturday our weather was clear but it was chilly and windy. Our electric was turned off about 8:30 which left me little time to shower and do one batch of laundry. No clue when power would be back on so Katie and I headed over to my sisters house (she was in Puerto Rico w/her family for Spring vacation) with three batches of laundry and our blow dryer. While the laundry swirled and twirled I found a book in my sisters library (yes she has a library) and read a little. On my way home I stopped at the butcher and picked up some fresh cold cuts then the bakery for some fresh bread

Eric's been at work for the last 10 hours and I finally ate dinner.
