Wednesday Evening Check In

Anyone had a light bulb moment and decided what they want to be when they grow up? Or have you decided and happy with what you've chosen?
What has gone in your neck of the woods today?

Us girls in the office have decided we need to form a singing group. One of us is tone deaf (not me), the other one knows all the words to what seems like every song and then there's me who knows like one line of a song and I just keep signing it. Last week it was show tunes from South Pacific, yesterday it was the Fifth Dimension and today it was Hair from the show "Hair". Apparently the song came into my coworker's head last night as she burst into song in the shower last night. So we've decided we're going to have a song a day to keep us all insane so we can get through the work day!
Other than that plan I have no idea what I'll be when I grow up. The workday finally rolled to a close, the high burner has been turned to a temporary low which allows a bit of a breather.
I enjoyed my dinner selection and Otto and I enjoyed our post dinner walk although it was a bit on the chilly side. By the time we reach home the sun is really low and the chill goes right through you.
I'm about ready to sit my bu** in the chair, pick up my book and do some reading and then perhaps check and see what's in the DVR and then off to the land of slumber.
Hope you've all had a good day and are enjoying a pleasant evening.

No, not even a single glimmer of the light bulb here for me today and NO, I don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

Deb,
I'm really sorry to hear about the issues with Katie. Getting my last one out of school and graduated was a huge nightmare. 4 years that I would never ever relive-in fact his whole time in school would not be a time that I would ever want to experience again.
This is such a difficult age and difficult time for parents and kids too-although I think it's tougher on the parents as they try not to tear their hair out at the same time they just want to shake some sense into those brains of theirs.
If summer school does end up in her future-you can only hope that that experience is one that she won't want to repeat!
Good luck and thinking about you!
Susan
You all need to sing right out loud.
