Good morning everyone. Debbie, hang in there. It does get better. My son is 23 and every day I see more and more glimpses of a human being :)

There was a great story on the news last night.A young girl was on a soft ball team and hit a home run. But she had a knee injury and twisted it again as she went to go around the bases. The umpire told her she had to hit every base in order for the run to count. No problem, 2 team mates picked her up and carried

My first thankful is that the Bill and Katie left with no argueing this morning. With the way the evening finished last night I did not think it was going to be a plesant morning. But DD got up when I poked her, took her shower, did her hair and make-up and was ready for her dad. No mention of cell phones, computers but then again no mention of the word "sorry" or I will try harder. She did say sorry several times last night but because I was so upset I said appoligy accepted but carried on no further conversations. I was not going to pull this into any more confrentation. Looks like it is chilly here again today, low 50's but at least we do not have rain so add that to my thankfuls. No gym again today since my buddy has pushed it aside and

Good Morning,

A pretty day outside although again a bit on the chilly side-but I'll take that over an April blizzard in the Black Hills!

As Nancy put it the working world will be beckoning me in a short while and that's where I'll be for the majority of the day. DD and I both had therapy appointments this evening but she has a dentist appointment so I'll take her earlier slot. My mental health can really use this session. DH will have to rummage through the refrigerator so dinner.

Nothing really new and/or exciting around here but that's not necessarily a bad thing. My SIL is still waiting for her breast biopsy results. It's been over 2 weeks so I know her nerves are definitely on edge.

Thankful that DD had it safely to Reno and knock on wood no seismic activity. Believe it or not I'm thankful for the ladies room at work as it actually has hot water to wash one's hands! The other building the water was lukewarm at best. Thankful for springtime and the beauty that it holds. Thankful for my 4 legged walking partner. His eagerness and anticipation of his nightly walk makes me smile. Thankful for coworkers who like me some days don't want to be doing what we're doing but we can make each other laugh. Thankful that DS wasn't seriously injured with his run in with a chain saw.

Hope everyone has a terrific Thursday and that coworkers, bosses, family members, chickens and pets all behave themselves!

Good morning!

We don't have any blizzards here, but we've had to do plenty of windshield scraping the last 2 mornings.

I haven't read the previous day's posts, so the first thing I read was about our older children becoming more human.
