Hey, if you want to be jealous -- I get to baby-sit for my little grandson while my daughter and SIL go to Vegas!!! Now, which would you rather do... ;-)

There's not much to add to my day. I napped much of the time since I posted. I was going to go to the Zumba Jam tonight and set my alarm, but I was sleeping so soundly, dreaming, when it went off that I set it for 15 more minutes. Trouble is, I forgot to reset the alarm. By the time I woke up I'd have had 20 minutes to change and drive there. I was just too tired. I did get a bit of a workout though. When my friend was checking out the pool a little before 2, I turned on the water, because the level was a little low. Fried brain me forgot about it and happened to hear water running through the pipes when I got up from my nap and was in the bathroom. Went out and it was to the top of the tile where it's not suppposed to go above. I got the larger of 2 stainless steel mixing bowls and started bailing out the pool, using the water on some shrubs and flowers. I must have done 24 "grand(est) plies with the weight of the bowl of water and it hardly made a dent. I will probably be feeling it

It's been a tiring day for me too. Lots going on in the office. I would get in the middle of doing one thing and have to start doing something else and then forget what I had started with. About 4:30 I was thinking that I should move the time ahead and say see ya on Monday!

I stopped by the library and picked up 2 books. I know I'll never finish both before they're due back but I was a little undecided what I wanted to read. I came home and finished up the book I had been reading and found myself nodding off in the chair and it was barely 6PM. How pathetic is that!

I have a load of DS' disgusting grungy work clothes whirling away in the washer. DS finger is just nasty looking and even his GF yelled at him for not having it looked at and not having a tetnus shot.

Although I'm tired I'm trying to get a few things accomplished around the house tonight so it's a few less things to do tomorrow. Housecleaning has worn out its welcome with me and no one appreciates it anyway so there are days when I say what's the use.

We did have very good news at dinner time. My SIL finally called the doctor's office about her biopsy and it came back all clear. She'll have to go for another sonogram in 6 months but we're all very glad that everything is OK.

Patty-that was quite the day you had. I hope the headache is a thing of the past and certainly hope things improve for your sister on the work front. She certainly doesn't need anything else on her plate at the moment. I was glad to hear that she is working with a doctor that she's comfortable with. Such an important thing when you're dealing with your medical condition.

Lori-hope things are going well with the new pupster!

Rhonda-sounds like Rob is doing great!

Deb/MN glad that your stomach issues have settled down.

I guess it's time to head upstairs and either start one of my new books or turn on the TV. Not sure what I'm in the mood for at the moment. Hope you've all had a good day.

Evening ladies!

The weather turned beautiful here today, warm and sunny.

If it's below 70, I'm cold, and I've been known to have goosebumps at the beach when it's in the 80's if the wind is blowing. LOL! I must have water for blood.

If you have rubber gloves, you can use one to get a better grip on that wine cap. ;-) Don't even have to put it on, just use it like those rubber grippers.

Your day didn't sound like a waste at all to me. You were very productive and had fun. To me, that's the best kind of day. Good job on exercising and keeping up with those abs.

I went out front before dusk and was cutting the seed pods off the alstroemeria when the couple across the street came back from walking their 2 German Shepherds. They're so pretty. I got to see little Caiden. He'd gotten a haircut this afternoon and looked so handsome. He loves my yard for some reason. I think it's because I have a step from the main sidewalk to the one to my house and another one at my front porch. He likes to climb on those and to look at the flowers. He got to see Riley on the roof tonight. I think they may come over to swim tomorrow.

Tim called and we had a very pleasant talk. Seems if we live apart we communicate a lot like we used to.
