When I finish here, I'm heading out to mow. I should use the edger and blower too. It will be my first go with the new mower. After that I want to float around some and swim some laps. Dusting is overdue in the main part of the house. Need to make a run to get some prescriptions I called in and pick up a few salad items. Tonight is the big, 2-hr., pre-Cinco de Mayo Latin Jam (Zumba) I've been waiting for, so I should get quite a bit of exercise throughout the day and evening.

I'm trying to make the most of my health and to improve it. Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning,

Gray and gloomy outside this morning. I think the majority of the weekend is supposed to be like this. If you felt the earth move this morning, don't be afraid it was just me actually getting on the treadmill this morning! Big discussion in the therapy session this week about taking care of myself and yes we do take our health for granted and one of the reasons I need to return to taking better care of myself and that also includes learning to unwind...I'm not so good at that! Probably would explain the anxious and tense feelings that I've been dealing with the past few weeks. The sunshine isn't out but I'm going to be sunny on the inside today!

It was actually good that I didn't head for an outside walk and the fact that I could hear the phone over my Ipod. Seems DH left all the computer codes he needed for work today-somewhere? When he mentioned jeans pockets I went into panic since that's the wash I did last night but fortunately when he was tearing his pockets apart looking for the bank deposit slip that he thought he lost that's where I found them.

This morning I'm taking Otto for his doggie spa day. Of course the fact that's it's going to rain will probably mean that the freshly washed doggie smell won't last for long! It will be interesting to see how I manage to get my 56 lb dog into the car by myself since he can't jump up on the seat like he used to and DH was around to help with that. He's also not a real great passenger so this should be interesting!

It's then off to Costco for a few items and then home and tackle some housework. Still contemplating dinner maybe something will be appealing at Costco. I picked up a book from the library yesterday that I'm a bit engrossed in so I think between all the madness around here I'll take an afternoon break and do some reading.

Margie-enjoy the weekend with Brock. Patty if you need someone to help with the jogging chickens let me know! Nancy-enjoy your visit with your parents.

I'm off to hoist a dog into my car! Have a great day!

I thought I heard the pictures on the wall rattle this morning! I'm glad you're going to focus on you some. You deserve it. :-)

Good morning, a quiet one in my house. Actually the men have left for the day. Bill was up and out extra early to meet his friend John and head to NJ for some testing on the Pro-Stock car. Boys had to head out to the east end of Long Island to meet up with someone with car parts (I don't ask anymore, lol). Billy took my bank deposit and Bill's car payment so that is one stop I do not have to take care of. Katie was allowed to watch some TV this morning and was very thankful. Now she is working on her knitting. She is getting together with my FIL for a few hours this afternoon. I just told her we will head upstairs together in a few minutes and we will clean our bedrooms.......so much together time. She is doing her knitting here in the livingroom while I attempt to type this, lol. She keeps talking to me. I also want her to pull her SS book out and together I can help her take some notes since she has another test on Friday and claims the teacher does not write notes on the blackboard or give study guide sheets. I have to tell you I saw that bad test she failed, holy crap it was hard. If she expects these students to read an entire chapter and just test based on that no wonder Katie has been failing. I just wish I had stepped in sooner rather then later hoping she (Katie) was going to fix this problem herself. I have some house cleaning to do, like wiping down the bathrooms, vacuuming, cat boxes, bed making

I wish they would've done ours tonight, we're doing it tomorrow at 3pm.

Our jam was last night but the big Latin one with drums is for 2 hours tonight. I think the young woman across the street who's pregnant may go and observe. Also, Rob's best friend's parents are supposed to be there, so I'm really psyched!

Next Tuesday night should be interesting with the 90 min. combo class of Zumba/kickboxing/ABS. Christine has taught kickboxing for a long time and her arms and back show it. Come to think of it, her whole body shows it! :-) She has such long legs that I don't want to be within striking range when she kicks!!
