It never fails when I don't see a morning post and start one I find one when my screen refreshs.

Good Morning,

Another gray and gloomy day out there. We must have had some rain overnight as the ground is wet. Otto had me up at 5AM. He was scratching at the door but when I got there he was standing looking at his food dish. After telling him it wasn't time to eat I went back to bed and then 15 minutes later he was scratching again. This time he actually did go out but he was back looking in his food dish. I figured the whining would soon start so he had an early AM breakfast and I actually went back to sleep for 2 hours.

I've been up and about since then. My washer and dryer are back at it and I'm soon headed out the door for grocery shopping. I have a mani/pedi appointment for after that. It's a free manicure this week-always nice to have something for free!

My book and I have a date with the chair for at least some time this afternoon. Bills are on the agenda as well as filing since I've let that accumulate. I should do some ironing as well to get rid of that pile. I tend to iron as I need something unless I feel really inspired.

Betty Crocker is still hanging around and there's a Cooking Light recipe for lasagna roll ups with red bell pepper sauce that looks interesting.

If the weather cooperates Otto and I will take a walk later in the day and that will pretty much sum up Sunday.

Deb/MN totally forget to wish you a Happy Anniversary. Hope you and your DH enjoyed the day.

Li-Deb-glad you were able to enjoy the day with Katie. There are days when preteen and teens are almost human!

Better get my hair dried, coupons cut, my washer back to whishing and dryer tumbling and dishwasher churning away.

Hope everyone has a super Sunday!

Good morning Susan and everyone else. I saw that Susan and I were posting our Saturday checkins at the same time and I figured best to wait because she would start a Sunday morning off and I was right! I actually went to read about the Kentuck Derby and the poor horse Eight Belles. She was a pretty filly, what a shame. A very sad story. Well we have rain, rain and more rain in the forecast for today. Although we do not have any wind, the trees are still and the sun looks like it wants to come out the forecast is not good. I was up at 7:30 with a belly ache. I guess my rich dinner did not sit well because I went to bed with a belly ache. Although I just finished my cup of tea and that helped. Rob is already up and showered and heading over to the shop to work. He is detailing my MIL's car while she is away. Billy and Bill are still sleeping and Katie is inside reading her book. We have a Communion party next door early in the afternoon.
