Anyone have a day that went really well today?

Deb-Va and Rhonda--I'm so up for your challenge, I want to think more about what is going in my mouth and I definitely want to be a smaller Debra.

Deb,

Hope all goes well with your friend. I finally went for my skin check this past year and was very relieved that everything was ok and I intend to keep up with that yearly appointment.

My day went pretty well. Doctor's appointment went well, the anticipated storm at the office wasn't bad and the boss left mid morning. No calamaties or catastrophes. The work day is over, my stint at the domestic goddess thing is pretty much done and I'm now headed to a chair with my book.

DH spent the day playing in the dirt. When I came home at lunchtime he told me that we needed a bigger shed (I already hate the one we have) since it's so hard to get things out of it-(mainly because there's so much stuff crammed in there). I really hope he was kidding! Now maybe if we got rid of some of the stuff crammed in there. Does one really need 3 weed whackers? Or my original bike that I've said should be given away since no one has used it in years? Maybe someday my clutter will have some control! But my favorite outside chair is back in position for the season!

Otto and I headed out for our after dinner walk. It was a beautiful evening unfortunately there is something in the air that is making my eyes itch and burn, sneezy runny nose-icky. It started this afternoon and it gets under control when I'm inside but I'm out for a few minutes and it starts all over again.

That's pretty much what has happened in my neck of the woods-who's next?

I've had a scare today and it's too late to do anything about it tonight. This afternoon I noticed I suddenly had a bunch of floaters in my right eye and a periodic flashing line of light. I took a nap and it seemed to go away a while. Driving to Zumba tonight, I noticed they were back. I looked the symptoms up on line when I got home and it could be signs of a detached retina or some other problem, that I should call the dr. right away. Ironically, I have to go with my dad for his eye dr. appt. at the VA tomorrow. I'll call my eye dr. to see when I can get an appt., but I'm concerned. It came so out of the blue. I haven't bumped my head recently or anything like that.

Need to vent ... so I came to my favorite group of friends ... not a big vent ... just an annoying vent ...

At 7:00 pm DH and I were to begin putting the bedroom back together.
