I need to vent!

Just took a walk up to our shop to see what the time schedule was for the boys....see my husband and he has this look on his face. The look of "what a cr*ppy day"! I ask what happened and he begins to explain the dilemma how they did an oil change on this Hummer today for the young lady who happens to own the salon next door to our place. Well she was on her way home when she calls Bill in a panic that there was black smoke coming out the back......Bill told her to pull over and shut it off. He jumps in his car and drives to her (about a 20 minute drive). He said he had to call a flat bed that the truck was pouring tranny fluid out the back and she could not drive it. Mind you it came in for an oil change and just left our place about an hour ago. Flat bed it back, put it in the air and something on the side of the transmission let go. He is sick to death over it even though it has nothing to do with what our guys did today, nothing at all. He already knows the song he is going to hear.........."ever since" those will be the words. Cut now to my boys who are under the hood of this hot rod car they work on. Just got it back from the custom shop, Robbie gives it a bath and power washes the engine and then takes it for a ride to dry it off. Figure they would clean the car up before returning it...........well it dies just as he is pulling into our parking lot and now the boys can not get it started, now spark, no crank.......nothing. I guess Katie and I will be dinning together tonight without our boys. Owning your own business is difficult enough but with problems like this it makes you cry. It is a tight business right now and we have 3 decent money days and 2 that are not worth putting the key in the door. I am sure Bill could use a Zantec right about now followed by a Corona because of this........and this is only what I heard in the 5 minute conversation we had.

Wow, this is a bummer! I know the trials and tribulations of owning your own business. I really feel for when you have a day like this. Sure hope it all works out well and is not as major as it sounds.

Big hugs to you,

Deb,

I'm really sorry with everything that happened. Certainly not a good day for all of your boys or for you.

Hugs,

Curious to how things go...I never know if I should smile and say how was your day (when I KNOW what kind of day it was)...or just be really quiet...or just go to Zumba.

Hummer still on the lift and owner knows there is expensive trouble, car fixed by my son (wet computer chip) that he was able to diagnose and one husband in the shower.

I never know if I should smile and say how was your day (when I KNOW what kind of day it was)...or just be really quiet After all these years I tend to choose the last one! When I got back in the house I told Katie that it was her and I and best that the boys were not around, she agreed!
