Not too bad of a day. The morning passed by quickly at work. The afternoon moved at kind of a slow pace. DH got a call from the local hospital where he applied and is going for an interview on Monday. His former employer knows some higher up there and think that's probably how the interview came about. But it sometimes who you know. No clue or course what he'll be interviewing for so we'll see.
It's very warm and humid here and sure does feel like the rain will be coming shortly. The new coworker is freaking out a bit since she's having a huge extravaganza for her DD's sweet 16. This party sounds more like a wedding and in fact is being held at a catering hall that does wedding and I can't imagine what she would plan for a wedding! Of course she would love to have a beautiful day but not sure that's going to happen for them.
Otto and I braved the chance of rain and headed out for our walk. It was dog vs me as Otto embarked on a mission to find anything looking remotely edible. I managed to get him away from the remains of a chocolate cookie smashed into the sidewalk and swarming with ants but not so much luck with the discarded lollipop. By the time I wrestled it away it snapped off the stick.
DS apparently went shopping this afternoon and as it's always been he had to give me his Mother's Day gift. He bought me one of those digital frames which holds about 1000 pictures. I think I'm going to have to wait for younger DD to head down in order to help me figure it out-as well as uncoordinated I tend to be technologically challenged as well.
On to the food journal and healthy activity-
Healthy activity was Yoga Booty Ballet DVD and a short walk/run on the treadmill.
Breakfast-oatmeal w/banana slices, whole grain toast with peanut butter, oj & coffee
Decaf Peppermint tea & mid morning-almonds & raisins
Lunch-big mixed green salad with chicken tossed w/2 Tbsp lite Caser dressing, whole grain crisp bread w/eggplant hummus, glass of skim milk, apple
Afternoon-yogart w/fresh strawberries
Dinner-Pasta w/turkey bolognase sauce, sauteed zucchini, mixed green salad.
A little sweetness for the day will probably be a Jello rice pudding.

Magic dust that my feet don't hurt too much tonight.
We had a cool day here and for once I was happy about it, much nicer for my chickens.I've been in CL

Our meeting today was one of the best we've had this year. I sat at the table with the speaker, who's termed out of H. of R's. and will be running for state senate,

Wonder if something's going around about tripping. I had so many lizards (chameleons, anoles, etc.) running across the front sidewalk, and I was in wedge sandals, that I almost tripped too! Hope you didn't hurt yourself.
I really feel for your sister and I know it's so hard on you watching her go through all this. How is your other sister handling all this? Is she there for moral support and all?
My eye has been better today, thanks. I've had a little bit of flashing, but not much and just a few more floaters than usual. The tails on them are kind of weird though.
At this point, measurements are more painful than the scale for me. And that's saying something...

Food:
English muffin, cheese, soy sausage.
Well I am heading upstairs in a minute or two. I have to say that I am glad I remained home because it was probably close to 2:30 before

I am running pretty late tonight and will be leaving tomorrow morning for the weekend.

It's the Jello snack cups that you find in the dairy case. They're sugar free and 70 calories and I think they're great sweet treat.
The oatmeal and the toast w/peanut butter are my breakfast and then later in the morning I'm looking for something to nibble and I'll have a snack to get me through until lunchtime.
