Good morning everyone, glad it is Friday. Normally Friday means I am off but since I did take yesterday I figure a few hours this morning in the office would be nice. So I am planning on going in until lunch time which is 1:00. We have rain today, its is damp and kind of gloomy outside. I have some windows still open but I think I will close them up. Slept much better last night, we pulled the fan out of the basement to move the air and it helped. Our upstairs bedrooms are much warmer then downstairs.

Good Morning,

Yay for Friday! TGIF! Can I say it any other way how I'm glad it's Friday!

The weather is dreary here and we are expecting about 2" of rain. There's a flood advisory for several areas. It would be a very nice day to stay inside-just not inside an office!

Closed my eyes for another minute this morning after the alarm went off. Well that minute turned into another hour. Friday has always been a tough day for me to get up and exercise.

Our one coworker is out today for daughter's party and my boss is still out of town and it should be a quiet day in the office. That has been known to backfire however. I'll be trying to catch up on the overflowing filing piles-the most dreaded office task.

Not much else going on. Li-Deb-Happy Anniversary to you and Bill! Hope it's a better day for your household and good luck to Katie on her test!

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

Good morning ladies.

It's beautiful and sunny here on the westcoast and I'm going out in the garden to play in the dirt!

I still think of Friday as TGIF day. I always have dreams of a weekend of family and relaxation and maybe something special to do. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. I don't think there are even any plans for Mothers Day yet.

I am home and enjoyed a surprisingly good night's sleep in my own bed. I stayed under the covers pretty late (for me) and enjoyed the quiet. I decided to workout at home and not go out in the rain until I had to for groceries. I did do a body sculpting workout...exercises I would normally do if I was teaching. Unfortunately, I lost some muscle tone and using the 10 lb weights was a struggle. I had to do a few less reps.

I weighed this morning to get ready for the challenge. Eating has been good so far and planning on homemade vegetarian chili for dinner...it is simmering now. Fruit and veggies are in the house and I believe I will be counting WW points again and eating mostly the core foods to point out.

So there is my update. I have to actually book flights for my next trip down to NC already. Have to check with younger DD to see if she is coming with the baby.

Hope today is a better day for those who had bad days yesterday and the problems will be resolved.

Grace

Good afternoon All!

Terrible storm last night and between the noise and lightning of that plus our two cats meowing at our bedroom door, not much sleep!

So, are we going to see you at the finish line at the Doubletree on October 3rd?? It's practically in your backyard.
