Hi, Nancy...just love those new beginnings. Don't be so hard on yourself. It was Mother's Day and well, I slid big time myself. Hey, we deserve to have a special day and enjoy it too!

Nice you will be getting new carpet. It is one of those mixed feelings things...hate the mess but love the results. You will be doing your spring cleaning and clearing and getting carpet at the same time.

Hope the day goes well...

Just couldn't believe the weather this morning, Susan. I actually went back into the hosue and to get a warmer jacket on my way to the gym. Glad you had a relaxing weekend even though it was way too short. Your new shirt sounds nice too. New week...new top!

Hope we get some warmer weather again soon. Good luck to DH and can't wait to hear how it goes.

I love the one "there is hope for me" and I will remember it when I think there is none and get down on myself hard! I am going to work on the "I can control what I eat".

Great healthy activities planned as well as your menu.

The flower garden sounds really nice, Lori! I am not a gardener and when I read posts like yours, I wish I was, but it just seems like work to me. Sigh...I hear gardening is so good and theraputic. Some day...

I love lilacs. We have two bushes and DH was nice enough to cut some and bring them in the house. It smells divine in here. Both bushes were given to us and I am so glad they are blooming every year.

Sorry your Mom's day wasn't better but you are one awesome person to move on from it. Glad Jeff was there for you in his own way.

Hugs

Gosh my girls went south long ago. Still trying to do pushups and weights for my chest anyway...LOL!

Wow what a mom's day you had yesterday. Very nice of you to host!

Hope you have a good new beginnings week too.

You gave yourself some workout today Rhonda. Reminds me of the day the instructor left the class to take care of her child in the daycare and left us to do our own abs. Not a good move since there were newbies in the class, but to each his own.

Hope the AC gets fixed. Sounds like you need there in Fl already.

Hope the new interval workout is a good one for you Patty. Always good to change things up.

You could try to fit some chickens here in our yard...but you wouldn't be getting any better weather. There used to be a chicken farm not far from here...actually my mom's cousin lived on it and today that land is part of Islip MacArthur airport.

Have a good day and hope your sis is AOK.

Glad the card did show up eventually, Marianne. You have great insight to what is going on with kids, moms and stepmoms. I will keep it in mind.
