How did your day go? Did you start the week off on the right foot?

Hope so...

Announced to DH that I am off for the rest of the evening so he will have to get his own dinner together from the leftovers in the fridge. Oh, don't worry...there are some great leftovers in there. I just want to be out of the kitchen. I think I will be nice and put some salad together for him.

It is so dreary, I feel like going to bed already. I confirmed my reservations for my trip to NC for the end of the month, so that is one thing to cross off my check list.

Hope you had a great day.

It's been a very tiring day. I'm not sure why but the work day dragged by and my eyes are burning this evening. I'm going to do my checkin and then I'm determined that my laundry will be folded and put away this evening. I've cleaned some of the must gos out of the refrigerator since I didn't do it before I went shopping and there was a lot of must gos in there to go!

DH's interview went well. They definitely have an interest in him. The woman said that she wouldn't be wasting her time and his if there wasn't an interest. There is one job available that would be perfect for him but it would be another cut in pay and it would be a big one. She knew before she even said something that it wasn't the right fit for him money wise. But apparently there's something new in the works that maybe happening in the near future and she thinks it might be more in the financial possibilities as well as his qualifications. So he's still hoping!

I had an idea today that I would contact our mail order pharmacy and see even if we're temporarily not members if I could still use them for my prescriptions and pay out of pocket for them. I still have refills left on two of them and a credit since one of the prescriptions I have went generic. It turns out their cash price is cheaper than the pharamacy and with my credit it takes the two prescriptions down to less than the cost of one refill. I was very glad to hear that.

Today's healthy activity was a LS Walk Strong tape and then some time on my exercise bike and a few stretches.

Breakfast-oatmeal with banana, whole grain toast w/peanut butter, oj & coffee

Snack-almonds & raisins

Lunch-Campbells Healthy Request Chicken noodle soup, eggplant hummus on crispbread & an apple.

Snack-yogart

Dinner-sweet & sour chicken, noodles, string beans

Snack-piece of Godiva dark chocolate. Watermelon chunks as I was cutting them up for the refrigerator.

My teeth are going to be brushed early so I have no temptations later on. Toothpaste and Listerine sort of kill the desire!

Hope everyone has had a good start to the week!

Today I planned to leave the office by 5:00 so I could come home and mow.

Grace, that's funny about telling your dh you are off-duty... I sometimes do something similar by saying Debra's Kitchen is Closed ;-D

My day went pretty well although one class was canceled.

I'll try to refrain from whining but my lower back ...uhhmm.
