Hi, all! What wonderful toots I am reading here! You all are awesome! Rhonda losing 12 lbs and Donna keeping off the 9 lbs. WTG you two! I see some good food choices being made and the exercise being kicked up a notch. I am still tired just reading the amount of exercise Debra does...you are an amazon! Great recipes being shared too...Just love the things that come up on this board all the time.
I started the day with laundry and bathroom scrubbing and then went to the gym where I lost my classes to take a new class. It was wonderful and exhausting! It was some sort of cardio/pilates/yoga/tai chi class that worked your muscles to just about fatigue and made you sweat. Can't wait to take it again! Then I met gf for lunch and had a salad with grilled chicken and beans with dressing on the side. No breakfast here either but I am going to start incorporating a 70 calorie protein shake every morning before my workouts. I ordered them awhile back and I took them out and put them right on the countertop. It is in premeasured packets and you just mix with water. I may have one for dinner tonight since lunch was big and I can add some fruit to it and yogurt and make it a meal!
Yep, the kitchen is closing early again tonight, and I will brush and floss right after I have my shake. It is a good trick Susan and Listerine sure does make everything taste yucky. Good for you for doing 30 minutes of exercise this morning when you could have just said the heck with it.
Have a great afternoon...the weather is getting nicer here.
Hugs to all...
Grace
Oh yeah...my toots...
Got going and took the class today even though I am still very tired from being sick and the diverticulitis.
Made a good decision at the cheesecake factory today...a lunch salad with dressing on the side and water.
Didn't buy any clothes at the mall today when picking up something for DD's b'day from Sophora.
I am feeling more motivated to do the right things for me.
1) Slowly getting back to my workouts 2) Improved eating - not all the time, but most of the time - and keeping that 9 lbs off 3) Looking out for mom, doing what I can when I can, and lending moral support from a distance 4) Bought coffee and a sandwich for a homeless man near the train last night
