How did it go again today? Hope it wasn't a trying day and things went ok. Were you able to get in what you planned?

Today didn't go exactly as planned since I didn't get out for a walk. Grandson was either hungry or sleeping and DD got home too late from the store and it was starting to get windy here. I will make up for it tomorrow with taking 2 classes...kickboxing and yogilates..each are 1 hour classes.
Off to make my dinner...going to stick to salad and vegetable egg roll and maybe a little chicken if I need some protein.
Have a good evening...

Just got in from my evening waddle with my canine companion (yes he sorts of waddles when he walks, long body, a bit weight challenged with little short legs). We were headed home when we caught sight of the Cookie Lady and Cody. She gave us a "goodie bag" to take home with us and it's amazing how fast that dog can walk when he knows there are cookies in my pocket!
The work day ended up being the afternoon from H***. Our copier is also a fax machine and printer. Something happened with an incoming fax that was making the thing read the wrong size paper. The job status wouldn't delete it, function clear, stop-nothing worked. The company's service department is terrible. We placed 4 calls just to see if a tech could call me back and perhaps just walk me through trying the clear up the issue. It was a constant stream of excuses. We finally figured out how to bypass the fax issue and get it to copy and by 4:30 we had two attorneys in crisis mode trying to get stuff out the door. Supposedly after my coworker then called service for the 5th time they said they would have someone there between 8 and 9-we'll see how true that will be.
Needless to say the walk with Otto was a great stress reliever! Lots to do around here but not much ambition although DH is out so I'm on kitchen clean up. I think I may do some reading and perhaps a bit of tv time before heading to a nice comfy bed!
Healthy activity-treadmill, weights and stretching
Healthy menus for the day:
Breakfast-egg white omelet, whole grain toast, oj & coffee
Snack-almonds & raisins
Lunch-leftover sweet & sour chicken w/small mixed green salad drizzled with 2 tsp honey dijon dressing, glass of skim milk & an apple
Snack-yogart mixed with fresh berries
Dinner-turkey tacos (I did make the mistake of heaven forbid mixing in a can of black beans into the turkey meat-DD wasn't too happy about picking out those beans!), brown rice, lettuce, tomato and a sprinkle of light cheddar cheese in a tortilla.
Contemplating an after dinner snack like I do every night at this time. I didn't end up having anything last night so pretty much the same choices this evening, rice pudding, pudding or jello-maybe maybe not.
That's it from me. D-Deb-I did forget to wish you good luck with becoming the CL! You'll do a great job!

I actually left work at 6:30 this evening - after working til 7:45 yesterday - that was more than 12 hours and I ate lunch at my desk.

Well it was indeed another full and busy day for me. I did get my morning walk in. Worked my 9 to 5, did my house stuff, cooked a meal, did some laundry and will be heading upstairs in a few minutes. I bought some Exederine PM and I am hoping to get rid of this headache and get a good nights rest. My walking buddy dumped me for the morning so I need to push myself and go anyway. The weather is not looking to promising for tomorrow. Boys are outside doing stuff on the race car and Katie just got home from the barn and is eating the left overs. My food journal is not what I had hoped for this morning but some how I knew it was going to change.........
Breakfast: Tea w/equal and skim milk, 2 scrambled egg whites with 2 slices of Canadian bacon
Snack: Fiber One oats and chocolate bar
Lunch: Salad w/tuna and FF mayo, 5 Ritz crackers
Snack: Green apple
Dinner: Baked chicken breast, brown rice, steamed string beans, Pillsbury biscuit w/I Can't Believe its not Butter spray
