1. Name one State in the United States that you have always wanted to visit, but haven’t yet. Alaska
How many States in the United States have you visited? Not counting states I've merely driven through on my way somewhere else, 21.
Is there one State you absolutely love? Why? Well, I'm very partial to my home state of Michigan, but other than that, I'm fond of California.
2. When was the last time you:
A. Used an umbrella? Hmm, maybe two months ago? Not that it hasn't rained since then; I just never use umbrellas unless it's absolutely pouring.
B. Bought a mango? Two weeks ago, for a Thai rice dessert.
C. Played with a paddle ball? Yikes, back when I was a kid...maybe 35 years ago?
D. Stopped at a garage sale? About a year ago.
E. Dunked a cookie in milk? I'm not a dunker, so if I've done this lately, it's only been by accident!
F. Walked barefoot in the grass?
A few days ago...but it was only because I forgot my flip-flops.
3. Okay, so let’s see how much you know about the United States Government.
It's too early in the morning for a quiz. Umm, yeah, that's my excuse...not that I don't know the answers.... *gulp*
4. Getting personal and letting us visit your bedroom -
A. Do you have a television? No, but we used to.
B. How many alarm clocks are there? Two: his and hers.
C. Do you use the under bed space for storage? Not unless you count storing balls of cat hair. (was there a "D"?)
E. How many lamps/lights do you have? Two.
F. What is on your nightstand right now? A lamp, a clock, my eyeglass case, a copy of the book I'm currently reading, and fancy linen dustcloth from the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
G. What color is your comforter / bed spread / quilt? A green and brown leafy pattern.
5. Herbs and Spices – besides salt and pepper, what five herbs or spices could you not live without in your kitchen? Cayenne pepper is numero uno, without question. For the other four, I'd say vanilla, curry power, chili powder, and cumin.
Can you guess where we are: I'll guess somewhere along the rocky coast of Maine
Word of the week:
Coalesce- what does it mean?I'd say it would be something about coming together
1. Name one State in the United States that you have always wanted to visit, but haven’t yet. There's so many since I've seen so little. I would love to see the Pacific Northwest-out in Cha Cha Deb's land.
How many States in the United States have you visited? Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island,Massachusetts, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia-pretty much an east coast person.
Is there one State you absolutely love? Why? Probably Massachusetts, since DD lives there and I love the area where's she's now living.
