Sat on our front porch yesterday afternoon for a coffee/tea break and commented on well now were getting into our better weather. Then realized we need to pull the power washer out and clean the furniture and front porch. Guess what we will be working one of the days next weekend? Looks like we have yet another beautiful sunny day here. I was up at 6:00 and at the gym at 6:30. Problem the track is still closed and neither Aunt Linda or I were dressed warm enough to walk outside. The treadmills were full so we found 2 lonely elipital machines in the back corner and went on those. Aunt Linda quit on my after 10 minutes but I stuck it out for 15 minutes. I worked up a sweat and it felt good, maybe I can convinice her to give them another try. More of a workout in 15 minutes then our usual 25 minute morning walk. Bill and Katie are gone and out of here. I have the washer going and I am heading into the shower in a second, as soon as I finish here and my tea. I have a pot of hard boiled eggs going on the stove for snacks today. Actually the game plan is for a chef salad for dinner and I will stop and pick up some fresh cold cuts after work. Does anyone else make chef salads for dinner? My family loves them. Work world is calling my name today and I would love to play hookie but it won't happen. Katie is headed to the library after school to get started on that big SS project. Her friend ditched her each day (Friday night, Saturday and Sunday) and I told Katie I knew this was going to happen if she paired up with someone. Then the friend won't be available to work together until this coming Friday...........I don't think so! So Katie has to tell the girl and teacher that it's best they work alone.

Good Morning,

After yesterday where it turned into rain showers in the afternoon the sun has returned. The wind is blowing and it's actually a bit chilly out there.

Apparently it's going to be a marvelous Monday for me & my notary stamp to head into NYC for the office. They need a notary in the client's office to sign affidavits from personnel and their knowledge concerning the matter. I'm not a city person at all especially on my own so this should be interesting.

DD and I did some shopping yesterday. She bought me a cute brown print top for Mother's Day and I found a nice pair of pants in the Gap on sale. Two pairs of sandals in Payless one bronze and one black for a nice price and a new set of Rubbermaid containers on sale. It's time to get rid of my really trashy ones and the zillions of chinese food containers.

Nothing much else going on around here. I'll check in later and let you know how my adventure into the city goes.

Deb, we use our deck and furniture all the time when weather permits, and have even sat out on the patio in our j-j-j-j-jackets and m-m-m-m-mittens on beautiful moonlit winter evenings - the kind where the moon casts shadows of the trees and the geometry of the deck so vividly.

Hi,Deb...ellipticals are a great alternative to the treadmill. It is a great crosstraining tool.

Gosh I am still waiting for the nice weather to sit out and have a mug of tea. I guess I just feel the cold too much yet unless I am baking in the sun.

Too bad about Katie getting a "dud" to work on the SS project. It does sound like she is much better off working on it alone. Good luck!

Hope you have
