For fitness my tools are my running shoes, favorite running clothes and my treadmill if I can't get outside. Also my weights and Total Gym because they balance out the cardio.
For general balance in life it's family and friends, work, play, quiet time and faith. Those things
Family and faith have to top my list. Friends would come right after that.
Other essentials depend on what I'm doing for the day. If I'm just around here, I don't bother with make-up or using a curling iron. If I'm going out, those are pretty essential.
Others:
Reading glasses (unfortunately), Dr. Patricia Wexler skincare routine, routine hygience products for teeth, etc., flip flops, sunglasses, daily paper, various magazines and books, tea of some kind, supplements, my "brick" pillow with magnets in it, magnetic necklace and sometimes super mini magnets, watch, wallet/purse, cell phone

Usually long black yoga type pants, some type of Zumba shirt, dance sneakers or Mizuno cross trainers, fitness drink, towel, dumb bells, light weights on bar bell, Bosu sometimes, step
