Well no winning lotto tickets came my way-so there goes that wish!

I am so totally confused about the day of the week. Yesterday I was convinced it was Wednesday and today I guess because it was my first actual day in the office I felt like it was Monday-glad that one isn't true! Who knows what I'll think tomorrow.

My mind is also going-I can't keep a single thing in my head. I go in the file room think of something I have to tell my coworker come back out-not a clue! I thought of a whole bunch of things that I needed to take care of this evening-not a one do I remember. I seem to need to write everything down. Sooner or later I'm going to forget something that I really need to remember. The past few weeks have been terrible in this department and it really is frustrating. But go ahead an ask me for a client's name from 10 years ago-I'll remember that.

My days in the city were not in vain. My boss came out of his hearing victorious and apparently the signed and notarized affidavits was a key factor in the victory!

Otto and I did get out for our walk despite very threatening looking skies. We had a few drops but came home nice and dry. That was about it for me as far as a healthy activity and the stairs at work instead of the elevator and of course the numerous trips up and down the stairs at home forgetting why I had gone up or down in the first place.

Breakfast-egg white omelet w/whole grain toast, fresh strawberries, oj & coffee

Snack-almonds and raisins

Lunch-my own special concoction-whole wheat pita w/vegetable hummus spread on it, a layer of sliced cucumber, lettuce, Trader Joes grilled chicken strips cut into pieces, mixed greens, shredded carrots and a sprinkle of low fat mozzarella cheese, glass of skim milk, fresh fruit combo of strawberries, watermelon & blackberries (becoming a fan of those berries).

Snack-peach yogart

Dinner-boneless pork chops marsala with mushrooms served over thin noodles, mixed vegetables & mixed green salad.

Nancy-I was sorry to read that your DS didn't get the job. Hopefully there's something else out there for him.

Rhonda-hope you're feeling better and that you're enjoying your time with Rob.

Lori-hope the time at home makes you feel better.

Karen-I just have to keep shredding. I still have a ton of paper from college loan applications for the girls. I just try to keep at it and up with it. But it sure isn't easy!

Hope everyone has had a good day and a good night's rest.

I think it should be later than it actually is because I'm tired enough to go to bed this instant.

It's probably just as well some of my wishes didn't come true today...

I didn't do a whole lot, but have been vertical too much. I am coughing almost non-stop in spite of all the stuff I'm taking. I went with Rob to a couple of stores to look for a TV and went with him and his best friend's family to that Japanese restaurant. I got hot tea and was sucking on cough drops, but still had to cough some. We had a good time though.

I am going to go down with Rob to help him move Saturday and Sunday. His friend will go too. Made a hotel reservation, because I can't do that and go to Orlando all in one day. Sure hope I'm better by then. Sure love having him home. I don't want Saturday to get here.

I'm heading to bed. Hope you rest well.

Karen very pretty garden beds, will you be doing the plantings yourself or will you have a landscaper do them? Is this a one shot deal or to be done over a period of time?

I'll take that shovel next, please! Ever notice Ddeb or Jdeb never need, want or request that shovel? Why??? Well it is only Wednesday night and I am completely exhausted like it is a Friday night! Did I mention that my boss took us gals out to lunch on Monday? Well he took us to the local Mexican place........yummy lunch with Margaritas! Well I was in the back seat and while climbing out of that tiny car I pulled a muscle on my lower left side back! Yesterday it was sore but this morning it hurt bad. Caused me to only do one mile this morning and a very slow pace. Yesterday was a busy day at the office followed by aggravation at home. I had stopped and purchased burgers but had nothing else to really go with it other then Kraft Mac & Cheese...well the "boys" wanted beans and french fries so after mumbling a few choice words I ran back out to the store (in the rain) to buy stuff. I hate when I do not get to the grocery store for an order or place my Peapod order. Anyhow they must have heard my vocabulary as I was walking out because I came home to the table set, Billy's offer to cook the burgers outside and Bill cleaned the dishes.............however it was short lived, lol. Today I had to pull my body out of the bed because of my back but I did it anyway. Headed into the office for the day. Had to run to Target during my lunch hour since my iron decided to stop working on Sunday night. I iron so much stuff I was lost the last few days not to mention that ironing pile is huge now. I had a Rowenta (I think that is what is was called) and I paid like $75 for it and it lasted about a year. I replaced it today with a Sunbeam with a cost of $34. From Target it was right back to the office and back to the grind. My MIL picked Katie up early from school and took her to the dentist for me. One of the baby teeth that she needs to have pulled broke in half and was hurting her. The dentist was able to just numb her mouth with some novocaine and pull it with his fingers. For dinner I cooked a small spiral cut ham with scallop potatoes, baby carrots and corn. However the boys decided to arrive home is shifts. I was a little angry about that but I let it slide. The steam began to bellow when my DH (D does not equal dear, just for the record) announced with an attitude that I ruined his jeans. The man wanted to know what I did differently this week with the laundry because his jeans were TO SOFT! Ladies you could have knocked me over with a feather. Like what did he just say...."I made his jeans too soft and now they feel like girls jeans!" Does anyone have any clue what my bright answer was to all of that? I can't type it here, they would kick me off ivillage for sure. I grabbed those soft as a baby butt jeans and threw them into my washing machine at 9:15 to be exact with a nice cup of TIDE! No fabric softener into the washer and no dryer sheet into that dryer, now they are stiff as a board and I hope tomorrow when he is playing with his friends at the race track they chafe the h*ll out of his tender thighs! I am an evil woman! Once I got my dander up and got a second wind I pulled out my ironing board and ironed all my stuff from the last week, I have batch number 4 going in the washer for the night, I watched the American Idol that I had Tivoed and I came here to see what everyone else was up too and check in. Now I will brush my teeth and head upstairs to bed since that lovely alarm clock is scheduled to go off at 4:15. Bill and the boys are heading to NJ for a race tomorrow. Testing some new equipment..........don't ask! I also have plans to walk with Aunt Linda tomorrow and then head into the office. Katie has no school tomorrow or Friday because of unused snow days so that gives her a 5 days weekend! She will head up to the shop to visit with my MIL in the morning while I am at the office and then do some research on her SS project. If our weather holds we will head out to the horse around 3:00. Well that is about it...........so send that shovel please!

Got through the four hour "Listen" training, and I have to admit, I zoned out a few times and said to myself...what did they just say?
