Was your day terrific? Tell us about your day.
Susan
The day was terrific because the work day portion is OVER! What a horrible day. You know you're in for a rough ride when you meet disaster head on two minutes after you walk in. And watching a 50 year old throw a 2 year old tantrum isn't pretty. I don't know how the man didn't break the top of his desk! We did get an apology for directing his tantrum at us even though it wasn't anything that we did. And is there a full moon? If there isn't the weird weather must have set all the weird people out. But we all came out in one piece and I know what day of the week it is because tomorrow is Friday!
It has been a very strange weather day. We started out with rain, then the sun came out and around noon the rain came down in buckets. I waited until it let up before venturing home for lunch and then the sun was out again. It was like that all day-one minute dark and looking like rain and the next the sun was shining.
Fortunately the sun did remain out although it is quite windy. Otto and I ventured out for out after dinner stroll and it was quite enjoyable. I think I'll do a bit of reading and then watch some TV and that will be that for the day.
Can't claim any healthy activity again other than taking the stairs at work and dog walking activity.
Breakfast-Kashi Honey O's cereal, banana & strawberry slices, whole grain toast w/peanut butter, oj & coffee
Snack-almonds & raisins
Lunch-turkey & swiss on whole grain bread w/honey mustard, tomato & lettuce, baby carrots w/tsp of light ranch dip, glass of skim milk, apple
Snack-peach yogart w/fresh blackberries
Dinner-CL-Deb's apricot chicken, brown rice, mixed vegetables, mixed green salad.
Maybe a snack night-not sure as of yet-Jello pudding cup w/cool whip is sounding good at the moment.
That's about it from my world. Hope everyone has had a good day & good night's rest.

You should get an apology! Sounds like he was very unprofessional.

It sounds like you have three year olds running your office, Susan.

I actually had a good day today in between intrusion thoughts of the man I used to love. I can't even go into things I'm learning about him.
Rob and I went to Best Buy to look at TV's, video games, and other electronics. He so into that. We also went to the mall and looked around at some things for him. I got him 2 pairs of 31" waist jeans and those are big on him. We want to give him a little room in case he puts a bit of weight back on after not living the boot camp life anymore. He also got a good looking pair of black suede skateboard type shoes that aren't as huge as the ones he used to like. He is looking sharp!
Around 4, we had a "breaklunner" (That's all 3 meals in one. I know, not good.) at Red Lobster. Normally, I would have gone for the coconut shrimp, but with this CM Crud, I have little appetite. Wish that part could last. I got some grilled shrimp with a lime sauce served with a sort of fried rice. I gave 2 of the shrimp to Rob, ate a few spoonfuls of rice, and the 2 cucumber slices from my salad. I did manage a cheese biscuit and had her box up the salad. It will probably be bad by tomorrow though.
We did a really fun thing this evening. Found out Rob's best friends family were meeting some other friends down in St. Augustine Beach to see ZZ Top in concert at the beach ampitheatre, so we hopped in the car and met them down there!! They bought 2 tickets from someone selling them out front and we were right in the center about halfway back, great seats! They were as good as when I saw them on their "Eliminator" tour decades ago. The place was sold out and what a place for people watching. We race walked about 7 blocks to where we'd parked to try to beat the drunks on the road and got home pretty early. My exercise for the day was race walking there and back.
