Bright blue skies and sunshine are "outside" today. I slept in this morning and didn't get my Saturday AM walk or any form of exercise at all to start the day. I have that nervous anxious feeling this morning. Absolutely no reason for it but it's there anyway.
As soon as I finish this and my morning caffeine fix I'm headed to Costco to drop off my prescriptions, fork over a whole lot of $ for them and pick up a few things that I need there. I have a cut and color scheduled for 11:30 and I am so excited! My hair is a total mess and I'm looking forward to someone else putting the color and for her to get her scissors working on this shaggy overgrown mess! In between time I'm going to see if I can get a quick run in on the treadmill.
DH is at work and after I get home I'll decide whether to tackle the weekend messy house or go outside and give the bushes in the front of the house a much needed haircut. The bushes leading up the front walkway have gotten so big and look like they're one giant bush. The whole front of the house is just a mess, between the half weed/half dirt lawn and the overgrown bushes. Can't imagine what the neighbors are thinking. Dh's mess in the back isn't much better. Of course I could just ignore everything.
I'd better run before the Costco crowd gets the best of me. Have to get in there and back out quickly!
Princess, As I read your post about the "friend", I thought she isn't a good friend... Why would she be so critical over something so small... Perhaps she is like that in all areas of her life but she would really bring me down.. I'm pretty sure I would avoid being around her.. I was shaking my head in agreement with the girls at the hairdressers.. when your around it perks me up too.. Watermelon on the porch sounds summery.. :)
Hope your weather gets better. We've had an unusually windy spring this year too. Can't tell you how many times I've said I wish this wind would die down. I'm sure that's what's contributing to wildfires around the state.
I know intellectually not to take what Tim says with a grain of salt, but it's the making my heart take it with a grain of salt that will take time. I think he will follow through for tomorrow, because it involves Rob.
Got some energy in me today and took everything out of this office closet (holiday, formal dress, and summer/spring stuff) and put it on the floor, went through and took out several pieces I think my much "smaller" friend might use, and several to the charity box.
Hi, all...Happy Memorial Day weekend! I don't know where my time is going but I just haven't been able to get on the computer. Yesterday is a blur and today is going going and almost gone already. I went to the prayer blanket meeting this morning and then DH took me out for Sushi for lunch. Went by some friend's/neighbor's house who just sold and are moving to Pa. They were lucky...sold their house in 4 weeks! Their house was built by the same costume builder as ours and they moved in a year before we did. So...over 4o years and now they are moving.
I am off to baby sit for my two granddaughters while DD and her DH go to a adult party. They sure do need it...hopefully a grown up event will help them unwind a little. Actually I have to go to Church first incase I stay over and/or it is a late night.
Hope all is good and you have some nice plans for the weekend. Have you planned some relaxation time too? I sure did....
Hmmm...I had an anxious feeling this morning too. I wonder what that is all about. I hope the damage isn't too bad at the Costco Pharmacy or the regular part of Costco. I sure can drop a pretty penny when shopping there but there are some awesome deals.
Good luck with what ever you decide to do today. One good thing with the outside work...what you do lasts longer than 24 hours.

Our #2 boss invites everyone out for Friday Frivolity every so often, and yesterday was one of those days.
