So how was your Sunday?

So how was everyones day today? I am doing one of the most amazing things...this modern world is so cool. Bill, Katie and l left for Bud's Creek Maryland yesterday to help our friend John race his car. We headed off of Long Island around 1 and we got to our final spot around 7:30. Long ride, much further then we thought. After a wash up, a quick dinner in a resturant called the Texan Roadhouse (what a meal) we were all under our covers by 10. Up early this morning and over to the track by 9:00. Well it was all worth it, we won! What an awsome feeling. The boys have worked hard on John's car for about 2 years and it finally paid off. The kicker is right now I am sitting in the back seat of my Explorer and I am on Katie's lap top on line. Billy has the Verizon internet with his phone and he let Katie borrow it. What a cool thing......Bill and I told Katie that when we were kids for entertainment we looked for license plates or counted cows, lol. Today between her ipod, the cell phone and this lap top she has it made. She brought a few DVD's to watch, although she never had time to watch them.

LI-Deb, we sometimes pass Bud's Creek on the way to my niece's house and Dad used to play baseball against a team from Mechanicsville when I was a kid! It's probably

It was a picture perfect day. Bright Blue skies and not a cloud to be seen. I got my grocery shopping all done and then off to have the nails and piggies all polished up.
I came home had some lunch and then outside to my favorite chair and my book. I spent some time reading and I came in to see if DH wanted to go for a walk but I knew just where I would find him-zonked out on the bed. I decided to pull my bike out of the shed (quite the ordeal) and rode around the neighborhood for about 45 minutes.
After coming home I decided to bake something with all those great blueberries I had gotten at Costco yesterday. I made a Blueberry sour cream coffee cake for a nice dessert and a vegetable lasagna for dinner.
After dinner Otto and I headed out for a nice leisurely walk. It was so nice seeing people enjoying the afternoon sun in the park, kids having fun on the playground and just enjoying such a beautiful day.

Here's a photo I took of Dad and Rob last Monday. I can't tell you how much it means to all the family. Tim is going to use it as his screensaver.
I posted here earlier and lost it while making revisions. In a nutshell, the day went well. Tim and I had a surprisingly open and productive talk (truth is stranger than fiction!) for 2 hours after Rob left. I feel a lot calmer even though I know I have to beware. He looks better. His face is not so bright red, so his blood pressure seems to have come down some.
Back to bed.
